  • I've no doubt that the instrumental interlude (not found in the studio version) was added by Waters – it's the precursor to The Wall's "In The Flesh"… same cord progression. Roger Waters is the king of recycling old musical ideas!

  • i think my brother went to this concert ....i must ve been quite the scene.

  • try some old ELO, Strange Music, mamma, fire on high, etc

  • ....so you'll have to make the final choice....What happened?? Gilmour lets it rip on this one.....Strange instrumental here. Awesome!!

  • I was just listening to the original and thought "this song needs to be much longer, surprised they didn't make it an epic", and then saw this! Thanks, and Merry Xmas.

  • what we need now, all floyd fans, is a live version of Fearless, and San tropez.....

i have never heard, or found anything on live versions of those tunes...shine on!!!

  • Good old sound of Pink Floyd... God bless Fender Stratocaster!

  • This is wonderful dude, I've never heard half of these live versions you have posted. Thanks from U.K!

Is there anyway i can turn these into cd for my car?

    Regrads Voodoochilie

  • Great memories of this concert. I can still see the show in my minds eye.

  • I have a recording of Childhoods end from Cincinatti 1973.

That's one of the best live performances I've ever heard... This song is great. Incidently, first time I heard this I was just reading Childhood's end from A.C.Clarke :)

  • @Zaaphod Love ACClarke! Time to re-read some oldies, I think.

  • God dam it! Live version. First time ever found that! great!

  • ....and i was there.

two weeks from my 15th birthday. me, my best friend, and his older bro. and here i am listening to it on the exact same day.......36 years later.

    jesus.

    pretty weird, huh?

    life is funnier than shit.

big hello to the harris bros. remember this? b.k.

  • wow that must have been an amzing concert in the year they released the best album of all time i wish i could be listening to it 36 years earlier

  • I was there as well from Skokie age 17

  • i think you'll agree.......it was a very

"different" time. i remember, before the show even started, some chick was walking around the main floor seats with a handful of powdered synthetic mesc asking people if they wanted "a lick". she looked as if she had already had several "licks". i do miss the 70's.

  • @nitrohuffer1320 I was lucky enough to be in the eight row for this gig. Just a shade younger than you as my 15 birthday was two months away. A group of four of us came in from Glen Ellyn. We have some cool shots from our seats. In retrospect the stage show was spare, but the music was unbelievable.

  • Thanks for another great video

  • great song and even better live thanks for sharing

  • nice
