The leash thing is the god damn grapple beam from metroid prime 3: corruption. That little mini-boss was exactly how a bossfight in corruption goes as well. Come on guys dont be too obvious about it.

@xlr8r2010 A DM or TDM mode would ruin what is fun about this game. Kicking, sliding, and leashing other players would take control away from them, and then people would complain about the game being unbalanced, so they would need to take out those elements, which would make killing opponents with skill not as entertaining.

The horde mode they include is decent. Give it a try
