Raptor is a B&M Invert. Granted both have the track above you, but a B&M Invert is way better than any Vekoma SLC anyday.

I am trying to figure out why everyone is trying to compare Hulk to Raptor. The only similarity in the two is that they were both designed by B&M. Everything else about the two coasters is totally different. Hulk is a B&M sitting coaster. Raptor is a B&M invert. Also the launch system on Hulk was not done by B&M (in fact B&M refused to make it) it was made by some outside company.

i gottttt to disagree.. hulk is longer, faster, has more inversions, and shoots you up. Plus the theming is better. The only edge i would give to raptor is that it is inverted.

no dueling dragons is something i would really like!! i think if the coasters were just by themselves (fire and ice) as to separate rides, they wouldnt be one of the better inverted coasters, but what makes them so fantastic is the interaction between the two rides.with the loops and interlocking corkscrews, and zero-g rolling to the hill. yeah im really hoping to make a trip to orlando and head to sea world and busch gardens

the hulk has a launch instead of a lift-hill and it launches at an upward angle... to be honest it's the only coaster i've been on that i got a major headache from! and i've been on quite a few! It was still fun tho. worth the pain!

It's not the exact same thing as Batman The Ride at Six Flags parks. The same company built it, so it is the same type of ride and has the same tracks and train, but the layouts are completely different. Raptor is over 30 feet taller than Batman the Ride, 7 mph faster, has a helix at the end, the drop is only a 45 degree turn compared to Batman the Ride's 90 degree turn, and Raptor has 1 more inversion and a cobra roll. I don't see how that is exact.
