  • To me it looks like he's just random dancing

  • 15 anos !

  • he has opened the wingpath

  • @ArajaKyyboa air gear anime huh? lol

  • @HansonHideki when we rotate in movement we "unlock" ourselves from Matrix unawareness. These patterns ARE the way of BEING in ones own strength at all times bringing forth the broadest spectrum in harmonizing with and to nature rather than a materialistic society so often forget the joys of basic human form and movement. Peace

  • hahahhahahhaha.....hahhahahaha ;)

  • I THINK OPIUM MADE HIM GOING , HOW CAN SOMEONE BE HEALTHY SMOKING AS HE DID?

  • Nice to see the beauty of wushu, it's a shame that there are so many tards who think it's only about fighting.

  • Translation.

    wushu = martial art

    wu - martial

    shu - art

  • OMG ! :d

  • 0:35 look hurts!! thumb up!!if im right!!his balls hit to the ground!

  • he could had won gold in the olympics as a gymnast. lol

  • those are some wild crows!

  • the fluidity of his movements are fricken beautiul I sight to marvel at for sure

  • I lost all respect. What a girly man.

  • its funny all these martial artist and i bet none of them can beat floyd mayweather jr. the greatest boxer ever

  • @BLACKMANIZGOD box is sport made for purpose of sport, martial arts are made for purpose of kill or injure, your boxer would not be a challenge for wing chun master, nintjutsu master, wushu master or teakwondo master or from others martial arts.

  • @BojislavPushka boxing is a martial arl. martial only means discipline art is what you put into that discipline. Floyd mayweather defeats people in the discipline of fighting with hands which requires speed and lots of practice and strategy. My point was i bet that there is no person in this world right now who can defeat mayweather name one.

  • @BLACKMANIZGOD chuck norris :D, nah, just kidding, well, i gues that sifu henry muller would do it, but i can get your point, in ring with some rules theres no one that can beat him i agree, dont get me bad, im fan of boxing but its for me more like sport, sport fighting, of course that combinations are useable in streets and so, but i mean that box techniq is disighned to purpose of sport, by martial arts ( i know that definition colapse but in my langauge its diferent)have purpose of kill

  • @BLACKMANIZGOD I think Manny the Pacman would beat Mayweather but there's 2 much BS going on outside the ring to see it happen yet.Mayweather is a great counter puncher but his defense has been shown to be weak in the past. I think Pacman throws 2 many punches 2 quickly and from 2 many angles. I think he'l beat Mayweather if the fight ever happens.Hopefully it will happen soon.Would b a classic.Pac's all out attack against the craft of mayweather. Maywther's class no mattr what othrs may say..

  • @reaper060670 what fight did mayweathers defense look bad in name one. it cant be bad for him to have a 42-0 record. and everyone who has ever fought him and pacroid always say that he is the hardest to hit out of the two. how can u say these things when marquez was whoppin on pacroid but when he fought mayweather he couldnt lay a finger on him. Answer that.

  • @BojislavPushka i love martial arts much more then boxers but martial artist are not trained to take a hit. I know this cause i do mma.

  • @rocker129678 actually most martial artists are trained to take hits better then boxers there just more trained not to be as easily hit as boxers by deflecting blows or stepping into incoming blows that reduce the force by meeting there opponents force with equal or greater force of there own because instead of energy being directed into 1 spot they learn to release there energy through the whole body by knocking someone off balance even if its not shown the results are to lessen the effect

  • @BojislavPushka Not really. And note, I'm a Ving Tsun practitioner myself, but what you say is to completely underestimate boxing. A pro boxer's fight record is probably longer than the list of people a ninjutsu (or any style) master has killed, for obvious reasons. Boxers are extremely well trained to take hits, deal powerful hits, and continue fighting. Their conditioning training alone is proof of this. a person who trains an art will know not to underestimate this.

  • 男子长拳

  • You wonder if Jet Li is dancing or fighting? Ask him yourself and find out!

  • Remarkably like Olympic gymnastics

  • beautiful!!!! What an artist!

  • gay

  • Dayum nature, you scary!

  • going by Cominoriginal's logic... my BED kung fu is the greatest... especially my Tiger jump...

  • Nice Show, but very ineffective in a real fight

  • @Infomarkets Yeah, I'm sure you've been in plenty of real fights.

  • @Infomarkets not if you are as skilled as jet li.

  • Wow

  • Icredible what one can do when young

  • damn he could fly

  • This is beautiful, he makes it look as if it were a dance.

  • Old school Chang Quan (Long Fist)! love it! He jumps so high!

  • He seems to have a bee in his pants

  • its amazing how he looks like my dad :D

  • this its contemponarany Wushu, not Traditional Wushu or Kungfu or GongFu.

  • @sifufini dude, Kung fu IS gong fu.....Gong Fu is how you say it in chinese...

  • Let clear things up.. If someone hasn't already. Wushu is the correct term for Chinese martial arts. The term kung fu can be used in relation to any skill which one has cultivated over time and with hard work. For example, If you are a good chef you have good cooking kung fu. If you are a good artist you have good drawing kung fu. And, if you, like Jet Li, are a great martial artist you have good ass kicking kung fu.

  • @Cominoriginal

We should just think about "Kung Fu" as an English word meaning "Chinese Martial Arts".

Because "Kung Fu" term is based on two Chinese words pronounce as "Ghoung Fou"(exercise skills).

There was no "Kung Fu" (as Koung Fou) . Now this Kung-Fu has migrated back to China and used even there as a synonym of WuShu.

  • @Cominoriginal Actually, I think most practitioners who train martial arts for the purpose of combat application and fighting will tell you that "good ass kicking kung fu" is proven by the ability to kick ass. That is to say, the practitioner has won fights. On his own blog, Jet Li states he's never been in a fight nor does he want to. He does indeed have incredible understanding of his body and may be strong but you cant just label him as a fighter because of that.

  • @ichixix where does he say he has never been in a fight.? provide link plz. I am amazed he has never been in a fight.

  • @Cominoriginal Okay, then I am a master of remote control kung fu

  • he looks like a ballerina on steroids

  • Would any of this fancy shit defend a good old fashion beer punch to the skull?

  • @probe26 yes, as he can move a lot faster than most people.

  • @probe26 not if it were a sucker punch .. problem is, it is really really hard to LAND a good old fashion beer punch to the skull with a true martial artist. It would never find its mark. In the hands of a true martial artist, it is impressive how quickly a punch or strike is intercepted and deflected. Think of a trying to hit a good or great boxer with the same punch .. it simply wouldn't land. Not only are the reflexes faster, but the martial artist is trained to see it coming before it begins

  • wie jung er da (noch) war :D

  • wait, is this ballet? That can't be useful in a fight!

  • @Trac3ri I think that you don't know what you're talking ;)

  • i didnt even know it was POSSIBLE to move like that. damn!

  • questo si che il vero kung fu, non per niente ma quest'uomo è stato sei volte di seguito campione imbatutto di tutta la Cina, in altre parole sei volte medaglia d'oro

  • questo si che il vero kung fu,

  • fourteen years old,and so good,I know why I'm fan of Jet Li

  • Wie man so schön zu sagen pflegt: ein NATURTALENT!

  • this is kung fu i regonized the monkey and long fist style

  • he was only 14, and this is wu shu not kung fu

  • this is how chinese people usher planes in for landing

  • this is art

  • Now I remember why I'm a big fan of Jet Li

  • That was strange. Like wu shu acrobatics.

  • bruce lee has fight people when he was younger ,

  • that was awesome

  • this will not work in fighting, as bruce lee had said most of the traditional martial arts dont work

  • @macgyver16

who did bruce lee ever fight? He did lots of demonstrations, but has he ever fought in a no-holds-barred fight with anyone? At lease the Gracie family has always backed up their talk by actually accepting challenges and winning!! Thus proving what will and will not work. Bruce was all talk.

  • @inative Well, if I may quote a great strategist & military leader. Sun Tzu said: "One may know how to conquer without being able to do it." (Chin. original:「孙子曰:胜可知,而不可为。」) Sometimes people can know what works without being able to do it themselves. Even if Li Xiaolong has never been into a fight he might've known what would work in real life or not.

  • @macgyver16 Well, it doesn't look like a fighting skill to me either. But I wouldn't judge unless I've competed against them.

  • Thats a nice little dance he did.

  • beautiful !!!

  • @arkenshire True but we're talking traditional forms and although wing chun is considered a traditional MA it really hasn't got any specific forms that it can show off like broadswords, chain whips, spears, those kind of stuff in Wushu competitions and haha after the whole Ip man films who wouldn't know he did wing chun lol.

  • Jet Li is like good wine, keeps getting better with age

  • bruce lee way better

  • @daviduciha I don't think Bruce lee practised Wushu so no I don't think he was better.

  • @iTouchin bruce lee training all martial arts so hes know all style he have karate power kung fu speed

  • @daviduciha I think your heading to a more fictional fantasy here, while Bruce was really great I don't think he practised heavily on traditional forms like Jet has and he can't know all martial arts style cause well that's practically impossible even in a single lifetime. In terms of Wushu competitions jet has it best in real brawls who knows man who knows :D

  • @iTouchin maybe iam bruce ee how know:D

  • @iTouchin maybe iam bruce lee who know :D

  • @daviduciha lol you'd be over 80 mate :D

  • @iTouchin Bruce was great at teaching and doing demonstrations, but he has NOT proven himself to be a great fighter.

  • @inative Never wrote that he was :D

  • @inative Yes he has...

  • this dude is a great dancer

  • its not chung quan its chang quan

  • jet li forever

  • How can you compare Bruce and Jet?

    That's like dividing by zero!

  • oh..he is a great dancer

  • were there actually colored pictures back in 1978? o-o if not i doubt this is jet li

  • @duc132

There was definitely colored film back then

  • @duc132 color TV exists since the 40-50s.^^

  • @KroxiGore07 Ty for enlightening me now i know =]

  • @duc132 Look at the face. Definitely Jet.

  • It's like martial arts + figure skating + gymnastics.

  • i want that shirt

  • Its slam???)))

  • totally awesome. hes crazy fast.

  • That was beautiful!!!

  • likes kinda dumb

  • imagine if you were foolish enough to mug him not knowing who it is.....haha

  • @beninkster23

a mean surprise that would be

  • He is so fast

  • woooooahhhh.... i just knew now that jet li learned the kung fu and other combat style when he was a kid @_@

  • @tedkenneth14344 ...um lol dude...don't most of the greats learn from childhood...most of them..heck all of them learn at very young age...and by "them" I mean asian martial artists period

  • a true kung fu prodigy

  • its like a gymnastic show but free style =)

Jet Li is totally talented man

  • A man indeed!

  • I am 34 and twice his size in this video. I work out 6 times a week and I'm pretty ripped. Yet, I would crap my pants if I had to fight this child.

  • @bcc1976 hahaha!! that's funny.. agreed

  • it looks like dance

  • omg!! he was so cute back then!! :)

  • very good! ^^

  • this is actually wu shu not kung fu

  • @Dykoz2 Wushu is a generic term for chinese martial arts just like Kung Fu, but Wushu is acctually a better term for martial arts then Kung Fu

  • @Dykoz2 Man how can a guy that likes justin bieber know anything lol

  • @GabrielKai I favourited a Shaytards vid not a justn bieber vid. what th fuck does jusin bieber have to do with wu shu u idiot.

  • @Dykoz2 this is GUNG FU(wu shu) right, yes

  • @Dykoz2 wushu is just a word used for all types of martial arts its actually a form of shaolin martial arts that hes performing

  • @Dykoz2 wushu is just a word used for all chinese martial arts its actually a form of shaolin martial arts that hes performing

  • @gogetatr12

wushu is the name for all chinese martial arts but is also both a sport and a school of martial arts.

but im not sure if thats what he's doing...

  • @TKane001 yeah Im pretty sure hes doing chang quan hes doing

  • @Dykoz2 kung fu and wushu both mean martial arts... its not the name that makes it different, its the region where its taught...

  • @Dykoz2 in fact, "kung Fu" is the name of Wushu outside of china, is the "Exportation term for wushu"

Wushu means " the art of war" while "kung fu" is more like "The mastery of something" but the two terms are used for the same.... the Wushu/Kung Fu

  • @Dykoz2

Kung Fu means something like "hard work" and can name every MA from China.

  • @shurednichso literally kung fu means "man of achievement". so a kung fu chef is a "man achieved in cooking" or a kung fu fighter is a "man achieved in fighting" this is the literal term, not one of the thousands of interpretations that people kinda just made

  • jet li was a martail arts champion back in the day then he got in to acting his wire work shows y ou that he is really good at what he does he aint just an actor or a martial artist hes a amazing proformer

  • Jet Li relied a lot on wires and stuff in his movies, but it was always obvious that he was very good at kung fu. In this old video he's strictly wushu, but he obviously got a whole lot better after this. In several movies there are scenes of him playing traditional forms, and he does them very well too.

  • Jet li i didnt know u could fight Kungfu. i tot u were using tech. u move so gracefully and fast. And that was 25+years ago. Someone feed me

  • this aint jet li... remember they all look the same

  • @chrisoc1986 umm was that comment meant to be like an attempt in humour?

  • looks like a ballerina

  • This is amazing as a student to muay boron for 7 years I have grown to seek and learn as many marital arts as possible and oh god this video makes me want to learn even more haha. I wish I could come close to his talents and skill.
