  • I don't understand how three people could not like this video...

    Dr. Cox I love you!

  • It takes a VERY skilled actor to pull of a character like Dr. Cox... they got the perfect actor for him!!!

  • I actually love /hate scrubs. Love for the constant belly laughs. hate for all those douchie emotional moments its has. anyway still one of the best shows EVER!!!!

  • @catpainplain you need the emotional stuff though :/ without it, a show likes scrubs could never work the way it does

  • d'aww. this choked me up.

    <3

  • I teared up a little watching the first episode (520)

  • 3:11 slow 360 turn, one line, walk out. Classic Dramatic moment.

  • @kawaiikaruson if he made a 360 turn, then he would be facing right back where he started. lololol..

  • @grittedteeth

    haha totally meant 180XD

  • That's real great, breake exspensive hospital equitment, so that the next time a sick person needs it, it wont work.

  • How did McGinley NOT win an award for his acting in "My Lunch"?

  • OMFG he said thank you!!!! (whit kind voice)

  • "You don't drink scotch"

is possibly my favourite Dr. Cox line ever.

  • OMG HE SAID HIS NAME!!

  • well... no matter how many times I watch this part, I cant help getting teary eyed... the part from 2:12 - 2:44..... its the most emotional scene of scrubs ever.... cant help crying...

it is really difficult to see a strong person breakdown....... especially if you look upto that person...

  • That and Ben's Funeral =/

  • Really well put together video.

I enjoyed it a lot. Especially the part where Ted was singing.

  • whats the second song?

  • winter from joshua radin , great song :)

  • what's the name of the song from 00:00 to 03:20?

  • How To Save A Life, by The Fray. Awesome song.

  • the 1st part of this was the 1st time i ever cried over a movie or tv series.

  • Watching Cox breakdown left a pretty hard impact on viewers (most of them at least). Usually nothing phases him but seeing him completely shutdown is heartbreaking

  • I personally found this moment sadder than Laverne's death only because I connect with Dr. Cox alot more . . .

  • what's that song in 4:35??

  • looved that episode.

  • Apart from the episodes when Ben (Jordans brother) and Laverne die, this has to be the most emotional episode.

  • HOLY HELL!!!!!! Laverne DIES!?!

  • yes sad thing though...

  • lol, spoiler alert. :P

  • :'D

  • One of the classic best episodes of Scrubs.

  • dr cox is without a doubt the most HUMAN character on the show...

  • Happiest day of JD's life :P

  • This show is a masterpiece.

  • did you notice he called him JD in the end? that really got me

  • hehe, he used his real name! JD! hehe

  • i think this is brilliant and great music love it!

  • i dont think you understand the scene, cox had been a doctor for years without anyone dieing on him, and then 3 die in one day, and as these scenes show he has a mental breakdown. different people react to these type of things differently

  • Because you do know how every doctor in the world would react in this situtation, please don't comment again, ever. I mean on any video, your a retard.

  • for sum reason i do not know why i always seem to almost cry near the end when JDs explainin how he wants to be a docter like cox, can be so emotional but still hilarious, i'll be sad when it stops :(

  • what is this for season`? :D

  • Theres no other series that keeps me laughing and close to tears at same time

  • And this is the reason why Scrubs is my favorite show. Such awesome acting.

  • Here it comes. Get ready for it....

    *sniffs*

    *sniffs and coughs*

*sniffs, coughs and tries to hold it in*

    Ah, fuck it.

    WAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!! TH-THAT W-WAS SO SAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAADDDDDDDD... :')

  • i like the stuff jd told dr cox ... how he wanted to b a doc jus like him ... that part wuz coo ... and then he said jd THANKS ....

    one of my fav shows

  • Only series, and the only episode of any show I got choked up about <_<

  • when jd told cox his own lesson i almost swelled up

  • Epic. Scrubs<3

  • is this season 5?

  • why don't you tell me what the name of the title is on this video buddy? you might learn something new too

  • JD seams frozen when dr cox said thank you :s

  • That's because he ACTUALLY called him by his real name, and not sally, or susan, lol.

  • that bit from about 2:10 - 2:20 is the best acting i have ever seen on scrubs, made me cry

  • agree. i had goose bumps while i was watching this moment.

  • this made me cry sooooo much!

  • Meee too ... !!!

  • the first time he called him JD )

  • uhhh he called him JD in the first ep, this is not the first time he called him JD

  • Probably my favorite two episodes of the shows run

  • Mine too. The only episode that even comes close to these 2 is My Old Lady.

  • the end when he thanks JD must be the best moment of JD's career :-)

  • song at the start is "how to save a life" by the fray, best episode at season by far

  • Whats The Song At 3:34

  • its winter by joshua radin

  • the first part is my favorite scrubs episode, the beginning is hilarious and the end is crazy sad

  • whats the song in the begging I want to know it so bad?

  • how to save a life-The Fray

  • omg im cryin....:( sooo sad but i love it

  • The first clip was the saddest episode ever.

  • who was the last person who died? the one that cox exploded over?

  • A patient on the transplant list Dr. Cox had gotten to know. Guess he was a regular at the hospital.

  • oh ok. thanks :D

  • He exploded over it because he rushed the transplant. the guy had over a month left to live, plenty of time to make sure that nothing was wrong with organs.

  • The Fray- How to save a life

  • that's the first time i heard Dr.Cox call J.D. with his real name!

  • He calls him JD in the first episode ever^^

  • I love that song at the begining of this clip And the ending was awsome Dr cox is great, A sarcastic guy without being a jerk! One of my most favourite characters from anything.

  • Dr. Cox is one of the most greatest characters in the Whole TV...John C. McGinley should get a Grammy or a Golden Globe Award...This Character ist very hard...To show the hard sarcastic side or the very emotional side...And i dont understand why the people say dr. house is great...

    DR. COX FOR LIFE!!!

  • JM made the most out of this character. Dr Cox was the best character on tv for the entire run. Quick whitted, and yet brilliant at his rants. The producers state half were ad-libbed.

  • i love the ted bit it's a real ice breaker, but still poor dr.cox

  • "i wanted to tell you how proud of you i am, not because you did the best you could for those patients but after twenty years of being a doctor when things go badly you still take it this hard" Thats the kind of doctor anyone wants, Dr. Cox is such a complex person, he cares so much 4 his patients that he can't do nething but feel sorry 4 himself. Thats the kind of dr i would want. No matter how much he fights it he cares 4 ppl and he is just as human as every1 else, & he has feelings too.

  • So sad but scrubs still works with the sad bits

  • It won't be long before Scrubs will be along side only fools and horses in the ability to make you piss yourself laughing and burst into tears within the space of 3 minutes

  • Something Else by Gary Jules

  • wat is the last song and it is not winter... Can someone pleez tell me.

  • J.D.??? Wow he called him by his really name....J.D. almost got that hug he's always wanted...

  • God this is sooo sad, :(

  • wats the song thats playing while there talking to him its the same one as bens funeral

  • joshua radin - winter

  • WINTER BY JOSHUA RADIN

  • i agree scrubs and top gear are great

  • John C McGinley, is easily up there, with Jeremy Clarkson, as one of the two funniest men on the face of God's own planet, Earth!

    Legend!!

  • and also well said lol i agree with both of you

  • Dr. Cox is easily the best character ever concieved in the history of any form of media; literature and/or TV/Movies.

  • well said

  • My god, if Cox was any more hilarious, I think I'd spend my entire life just weeping gently.

  • A-fucking-men.

  • this is so good I LIKE IT!

  • I love moments like this cuz they r so rare, not just in scrubs but in every series. And when they happen they look just like this :)

  • hmm, that's like the first time cox called him JD :O Kinda wierd to hear it from him :)

  • First time in a long time, anyway. He also does it in the first episode of the show.

  • the part where kelso talks to dr cox is great

  • cox being nice.

  • nvm i found the song =

    Winter - Joshua Radin

  • On the part where Bob Kelso talks to Perry, whats the song called, cuz i know for a fact it ain't Something Else by Gary Jules. Please someone help my dumbass

  • this is my 2nd favorite episode. the first one is My Intern's Eyes

  • He called him friggin JD OH gosh not pamela shirley heidi or whatever

  • the band is the fray

  • what's the name of the song that is shown at the beginning?

  • how to save a life, cant remember who the band is though

  • thanks

  • dude moschops, seriously, no.

  • this is why people love scrubs, its that its a completely unique comedy tha has heart to it, and keeps things real

  • this is when scrubs thought it was er. this show is a COMEDY!!

  • I laughed so hard when all the people died I nearly wet myself.

  • can i ask why?

  • retard

  • whats ur problem?

  • If you've seen more than two episodes of scrubs and have an IQ above -3 it's pretty easy to realize that Scrubs can't be classified under one genre. Do you even pay attention to the 'inner monologue'?

  • Looking for episodes of Scrubs online, webisodes, interviews and moments?

Check out sidereel @ sidereel . com / Scrubs

    Enjoy!

  • John C. McGinley is the best actor ever

  • Amen to that.

  • Now I wish I'd seen those episodes. Awesome that he called him JD. Kind of weird sounding though.

  • *goes to see if McGinley has at least been nominated for an Emmy yet*

  • anybody know the name of the last song of the video?

  • something else by gary jules

  • it's kinda morbid how much i love these episodes but.

  • wow these r like my fave episodes just 4 how emotional they r

  • I fucking love this episode scrubs, like hands down my favorite one [next to the musical one i think =D]

AND i'm glad u have this clip, its seriously like super awesome xD

  • This is the most emotional movie I've ever seen made about Scrubs. Good job.

  • Wow.... Dr. Cox broke down BADLY

  • nice job

  • nice and touching

  • Gotta give ya kudos, too. I love seeing Cox vulnerable in the first half, but his depression and getting pulled up is much better.

  • tah and i ken

  • good vid andy =]

    love those episodes

they're like one of the saddest episodes of scrubs

  • That's a really nice little video there. I love that you had the My Lunch episode but also the follow up of My Fallen Idol, which is really something that needs to be seen after My Lunch. I also just have to say how much I love what Kelso says when he visits Cox and of course JD being the one to get through to him is nice. Great video.

  • tah
