  • Not that I have anything againts the documentary but I think that there putting bartman on the spot. Just saying though.

  • :50 does not make sense to me. The Cubs lost to the Marlins in the NLCS before the Red Sox lost to the Yankees in the ALCS. Why did they mention that line???

  • @WhiteSox1426 I wondered that myself. That made no sense. Before Aaron Boone hit that HR, in the 11th inning, I remember them going to the booth, and Joe Buck asking both McCarver and Bret Boone, "Who do you think The Marlins want to face?" and both McCarver, and Boone said "I don't think they care". To which Joe Buck replied, "Fine, let me be the one to say it. It doesn't really matter"

  • this is only a minute long is this the whole part 3??

  • Who would have thought that a film about the fu*king Cubs losing could still be turned into a film about the fu@king Red Sox!

  • It's all about the Red Sox, ESPN. It's all about the Red Sox.

  • I am a Yankee fan but I feel bad for this guy. All he wanted to do was catch the ball but then ends up costing the game for the Cubs. I bet he came to the ballpark exicted about Game 7 of the NLCS but then ends about being escorted

  • i feel sorry for him, but that one play did not make the cubs lose.

  • Blaming YOUR OWN fan for not getting to a world series is downright pathetic and sad. What fan at a game doesn't try and get a foul ball???? Call it the "Alex Gonzalez screwed up a double play to end the inning" incident. and if Alou didn't have that bad of a reaction, the incident wouldn't even of gotten any attention at all. It would've just been seen as a missed oppurtunity by Alou.

  • @Supersonicsfan12 "What fan at a game doesn't try and get a foul ball????"

... Maybe a non-retarded one? Maybe there's a difference between some random ball going deep into the stands and a ball that's headed into the glove of one of the players on the team you profess to root for? Maybe a fan that's actually paying attention to what's going on at a game he's attending and not listening to it on the radio might have a better idea of what's going on?

  • @JTDutch Don't give me that "paying attention to the game" bullshit. There were 4 other fans around bartman trying to grab the same ball but when they failed to retrieve it they pointed their fingers right at bartman as well as the rest of wrigley field. Those people are called COWARDS.

  • @Supersonicsfan12 ... Hey, I didn't say that the people around Bartman weren't stupid, either. They were. If they REALLY wanted to see the Cubs win the game, they would have let Alou catch the damn ball, and then asked for a ball afterward. It was a bad situation all the way around, but that doesn't mean Bartman did the right thing - at all.

  • @JTDutch some valid points but name one time where you have seen fans at a baseball game NOT catch a ball so it'd help their team....

  • @Supersonicsfan12 Phillies fans, "don't touch the ball, don't touch the ball. smart fans

  • I'm a ranger fan but I feel bad for him! I hope he's doing well now

  • F cubs fans, Fox baseball, and the media for scapegoating this kid. Watch that ESPN catching hell....I am a Chicagoian....ChiSox fan but not a cub hater until I saw that.....Let's hope for another 100 years. Bartman had as much to do with the loss as I did watching it at home.

  • @mysotype2 Was there a curse of the Black Sox? The ChiSox had gone even longer than than the BoSox without winning it. From Shoeless Joe to Jermaine Dye, it was a long time!

  • @AppleCrisp233 Its not like some other team didnt win the world series that other people wanted to win

  • @AppleCrisp233 What about Alex Gonzalez's error? What about Mark Prior's hanging slider? What about the 8 run inning that the Cubs bullpen allowed? What about game 7? What about holding onto the lead in Game 7 when Alou hit that home run? If you are telling me, all this and more was caused by Steve Bartman, then my faith in professional athletes just went down. If you're a professional, you are expected to do your job even in a time of crisis because your are the best at your job.

  • @linkin49park182 VERY VERY well put

  • @linkin49park182 its not big its only if they won in miami or this incendents never happen

  • @linkin49park182 Simple, A majority of Fans (No matter what the Sport) want to put the blame on one person or play as the reason why the team lost. Its a shame, but its true.

  • @linkin49park182 I couldn't have said that better myself. Excellent points.

  • @AppleCrisp233 You should give your life for saying that stupid comment.

  • Honestly if you believe someone should take their life over a game then please get a life. It's not that serious its a game. I saw it on tv and I was one of those guys that was mad cause Alou, couldve made the play. But I was over it. Bartman didn't deserve any of that bullshit...

  • @AppleCrisp233 u are a fag. If your not even a cubs fan, why do you care. I m not a cub fan and I feel sorry for him.
