I don't think an otaku is something to be proud of, sure you can watch anime and collect some figures and stuff ...but people just go overboard by acting like anime characters and using Japanese words in English sentences, its so darn annoying there's so many of them in my class, sure Ive watched over 300 anime/manga but i don't get overboard, a lot of otakus are procrastinators too which by watching alot of anime made me one too.
