Mayhem is the better all around fighter. Jake's stand up is garbage. Their ground games are equal. Watching Jake on the feet vs Daley and Lawler was painful... he looked sooo bad. Neither of those guys have a ground game, though. Miller does. I say Mayhem either takes the decision and possibly gets a TKO in the 3rd.

Brett is a finisher bruh..it's easy for you to hop on fedor's bandwagon much like you all did when Brett fought Andrei-- let me tell you... I train with brett and have been for the past 3 yrs.. - and it's one thing to comment as a fan..but when you do this and have gotten in that cage you tend to see things a little differently- true you have to respect fedor but Brett is a finisher-wont keep him around

I like all your pics except for Shields. Shields doesn't suck in any respect, but I've gotta go with Miller on the ground. Just matching up the two styles, I see ultra-flexible Miller avoiding the sub. He seems to bend in ways most fighters can't and I see Shields struggling against that a bit. And Mayhem's good at sneaking something tricky in through the side door in some way that can't be well-anticipated.

I agree with most of your picks.. but I think Miller may take the decision over Shields.
Mayhem is the better all around fighter. Jake's stand up is garbage. Their ground games are equal. Watching Jake on the feet vs Daley and Lawler was painful... he looked sooo bad. Neither of those guys have a ground game, though. Miller does. I say Mayhem either takes the decision and possibly gets a TKO in the 3rd.

I think you are right about Fedor VS Rogers. I am really interested in watching Anderson VS Fedor I wanna see if Fedor gonna walk down Anderson because Ando loves it when people chases him. 1st of all- fedor was gettin his ass kicked by a few people but they failed to finish him. Brett is a finisher bruh..it's easy for you to hop on fedor's bandwagon much like you all did when Brett fought Andrei-- let me tell you... I train with brett and have been for the past 3 yrs.. - and it's one thing to comment as a fan..but when you do this and have gotten in that cage you tend to see things a little differently- true you have to respect fedor but Brett is a finisher-wont keep him around

Good preview as usual, I got almost the same picks with the exception of Werdum over Silva, I'm not saying it's going to be that easy for him, but I believe Fabricio's experience and better ground game will be the factor in this fight. Hope Strikeforce get some good numbers with this event.

I appreciate it, man. I've gotta admit I was *scared* after that first punch cut Fedor. But the guy always has a way to pull through, the sign of a true champion. Amazing how he beats all the strikers at their own game...
I apologize if I got too fired up about defending the Machida-Rua decision. I did think it could go either way given how close rounds 1 and 2 were, but obviously I'm "a bit" biased towards Machida.

Great video. I lol'd when you were making faces at Rogers' dumb comments. How could anyone "see a lot of holes in Fedor's game" after watching exactly ONE of his fights, and one that didn't even make it out of the first round? Crazy. You always have to study your opponent, but that's 100 times more true when your opponent is the greatest ever. Arlovski studied Fedor's fights "with a fine tooth comb" and was holding his own... until he got flashy. Rogers will get destroyed.

I like all your pics except for Shields. Shields doesn't suck in any respect, but I've gotta go with Miller on the ground. Just matching up the two styles, I see ultra-flexible Miller avoiding the sub. He seems to bend in ways most fighters can't and I see Shields struggling against that a bit. And Mayhem's good at sneaking something tricky in through the side door in some way that can't be well-anticipated.
I'm going Miller by triangle, middle of the 3rd.

Nice, so right about Rogers, many of his first opponents have yet to win a fight.... ever. I like your prediction on that... your right, respect of power at the beginning, combo that either drops Rogers, OR against the fence and Fedor with the twisting throw, at which point it will be hits, and if Rogers guards the hits, arm bar, Fedor stands up and holds one fist in the air as he walks to hi corner. Out of all the reviews for this event, I've never seen anyone discuss the cage factor.
I don't think Fedor has ever fought in cage - this probably wont be a factor with a guy like rogers, but maybe someone else.

One side of me I want Fedor to destroy him but another part always goes for the underdog... Plus this would do a lot for Rogers but he has to move forward in this fight like he did with arlovski a very imposing forward motion leave no openings. Fedor does not do 3 or 4 hit combos at first.. He always starts out with a faint left and then a right hit..then the clinch, then 4 more hits. He will only throw 1 or 2 hit combos if he respects his opponent's stand up. I looked at the Arlovski vs Fedor fight over and over again.

Dana was dissin Fedor sayin "who is he fighting Buck Rogers?" Well he has Carwin challengin Brock. In my opinion Rogers and Carwin in the same boat, beating up a bunch of nobodies before a victory over ONE big name. Granted Carwin is more well rounder but nonetheless this is a legit oponent for Fedor.
I personally see this going late into the first round because Fedor will need to adjust to the Cage and I also think that Rogers will scramble off the ground at least once or twice b4 he taps.
