  • what happend to his ears? :o

  • Rap-Chilla?

  • Look, this is to all of you. Chinchillas have to have these special dust baths because, like someone said before, their fur is too dense for water baths. The volcanic sand you MUST use, feeds into their fur and soaks up all the excess oil and grit and durt within your chinchilla's fur that she does not need. Okay? :) xx

  • Oh, and can some people just SHUT THE HELL UP?! Stop criticizing how other people are taking care of their chinchillas!!!! Jesus Christ!! Does the chinchilla look unhappy? No. Does she look unhealthy? NO. Now shut the hell up or I swear to God I am going to spam up yo asses so much your channel won't even work. Don't be so tight on other people!

  • This it too cute. :)

  • You should have some type of thick bedding (except for cedar) on the bottom. If there isn't bedding, the wire can give them arthritis later in life.

  • ha ha ha no fucking way. i use the same thing as a dust bath for my chin.

  • umm why does it like to roll around in dust lol?

    does she like getting dirty?

  • @with33 its the only way to clean their fur, as ironic as it sounds.

  • @poisongasses lol pleae explain how this cleans there fur lol?

  • @with33 i don't know how it clean their fur.. all i know is that their fur is to dense for water to actually reach their body, so this is the alternative.. and it pisses me off, cuz they make such a big mess >:(

  • @poisongasses lol well if you find out please tell me

also what kinda dust is that lol?

  • @with33 i think the dust comes from volcanic rocks or some shit, if thats the kind of answer your looking for, there are diff brands, if ur buying some, my chinchilla enjoys the blue cloud, if u find scented dust.. don't get it, as mush as u and i want a nice smelling chin, it may irritate them. plus they dont have much of a smell anyways so why bother.

  • @poisongasses @with33

It cleans their fur by drawing out all of the oils and dirt. Chinchilla fur is so thick that it would take FOREVER for it to dry if you gave them a water bath, and letting them air dry runs a risk of: 1. pneumonia because they're cold for too long 2. overheating and death if you try to blow-dry them. 3. fungus underneath the fur from dampness.

  • omg she looks likes shes singing to it

  • why does it look like the ears are so chewed up? has it been cage fighting if so then they need to be seperated.

  • hehe im amused

  • good shit ;d

  • dude wtf theres way too much dust! they can get lung and eye irritation from too much dust.

and also, if they listen to eminem their ears will bleed. wtf.

  • @ElectroLunchbox the amount of dust is fine. as long as they cleaned the cage afterwards, it lowers the chances of getting lung and eye irritation. he (or she) will be fine :)

  • @ElectroLunchbox your sentence lost all credibility on those last 9 words.

  • haha lol

ur chinchilla is so cute :)

  • u have a sooo cute chinchilla. its a gilrs? she lokks like a girl, with the cute ears and the sand and the eyes... i have two of them, but yours have so beautiful chinchilla coat...great

  • this has reminded my to give my chinchilla a bath.

mine does this weird thing were it puts its head inside a kitchen roll tube and it gets stuck in there, and it walks around with it stuck on his head. XD the cutest and funniest thing ever!

  • dude anilwarrier u r a true freak. but dude ur chilla looks like it stops its bath to start singing with the song lol

  • Im to parranoid to give my chinchilla a plastic igloo :S might chew on ti and plastic is bad for them.....

But i love yours its soooo cute.

Im going to get my first Chinchilla soon and i cant wait!

  • I mean..if they would die from it, the pet store would be sewed. The chins don't die from that little bit of plastic. It's very hard plastic, but it isn't the best sleeping place, hidding place, ect. I'd get a hammock. That's what they love, even if they chew on it, won't harm them.

  • @WolvesDoSoCry you should be okay; just keep an eye on them. if they chew on it, take it out and try to find something else for him to hide in. my fiance and I use cardboard boxes, they love it.

  • i know.. i have a chinchilla! but i meant isnt a little small in the jar

  • why do u have it in a jar :S?!

  • It's in a cage

the dust is in the jar

    Chinchilla's like dust baths

    can't you see?

  • it looks like hes singin hahaz

  • your video is funny but SO RETARTED

  • i mean cute ^.^

  • cyte ^.^

  • danget get bedding stupid!

  • u dont need it but u should use it

  • no its a requirement

  • No it isnt i have asked many pet people and they said"the like to dig but the dont need it"

  • cool, chinchillasand in a bottle, nice plan!

  • The chin isn't going to get stuck.. dear god people! ... Idiots...

    Nice chin! So cute!

  • dude put wood as ground of the cage... thrust me- mine got stuck and now hes peeping everytime he sees his cage...

  • 1 day she is going 2 get stuck....... u should tri something bigger

  • oh for god's sake, whoever is filming this is RIGHT there, she is not going to drown in dust nor is she going to get stuck...i think she is much safer here than the wild or god forbid some chinchilla farm where they would get turned into bikini's for lil kim or something...ugh i hate people that wear fur, this just makes me hate them more...clearly this is an intelligent, sentient being with a personailty...anyhoo, chill! cocoa is not getting hurt!!! ack, people drive me nuts...

  • @kerryberry420 IKR ME TOO! People who wear fur, make me sick. It is repulsive, and I just want to puke on them!!!

  • DO A BARREL ROLL!

  • dats nt a gud dust bath thing for it cuz it rolls around!

  • almost looks like she's singing the song

  • he got a fluffy face

  • He stoped right when the music starts

  • hehe so cute and he loves the music xD

  • lollll omgosh how cute i want one sooo bad!

  • LOL barrel rolled

  • check out my chin on my page dust bath instructional vids soon!

  • LOVE IT! :)

  • with its lil whiskers it looks like its talking lmao

  • poor chin. that wire bottom cage is not good for his/her feet.

  • That's kind of what I noticed as well. I've never kept an animal like this but figured nothing would like to walk on a wire bottomed cage.

He sure likes his dust bath though, lol.

  • yea cos a rocky mountain hasnt got sharp bits of rock or twigs come on think about what your saying also most chins climb the sides of thier cages they wouldnt do that if it was uncomfortable

  • by the way my last post was for knitcore2

  • Chinchillas don't walk around on metal wire in nature, where their feet can get caught in it. What an awful cage.

  • your right they walk round on sharp rock twigs an other more dangerous crap there is nothing wrong with the cage an how do you suppose its gonna get its leg stuck think about it there is a inch to the floor of the cage an its legs are 2 1/2 inches long if it misses its footing (which aint gonna happen) it will hit solid floor an no harm will be done

  • also how many twin level chin cages have you seen where the top level aint wire an chins spend most of there time as high as possible they dont care wot they are sat on so why do you?

  • cute cute cute :D

  • kl chinchilla

  • why they do this ?

  • they do this to clean them self...

  • haha aww

    i have chinchilla

    he's so funny

  • hehe Sweet i have a chinchilla named cocoa also

  • chin-chilla

  • i had a box of that sand where my chinchillas cleaned themselves.

  • Chinchilla fur coats are being sold at Furs By La Fayette in Los Angelos. Google it and then call PETA.

  • shake the ass

  • He does need a stable bath and no wire bottom, but it sure is a cutie.

  • mebbe get rid of cage shins can get legs caught and broken

  • kinda looks like he/she is singing to it lmao

  • he needs something more stable to take a bath in. that has to suck rolling around in a glass jar

  • whoops i mean whiskers

  • xD pretty much shake those whispers for me

  • oh so its just for fun... alrite i didn't know if the needed? it haha thanks

  • It is needed, it's how the chinchilla gets clean and keeps moisture from building up in its fur, which could be fatal.

  • Sorry but a lot of chinchilla's come from mountains and since they have so much fur, it's not good for them to get wet. So instead the chinchilla's would scrape at rocks in the wild and make it into dust and roll around in it to take a 'bath'.

  • uhh what is the purpose of a dust bath?

  • chinchillas came from the desert.

So people give them dust baths or sand baths to roll around in. You can get the dust or the sand at pet stores. :]

  • it went out because it was choking, use something bigger man don't cause your chin any pain

  • do chinchillas feel wierd after a dust bath although i wouldnt care because this one is so cute

  • OMG suu cute. Looks like the Chin singing in the song too! Watch his mouth!! Sweet

  • @Raggaking07 it does

  • how often do u dust bathe them

  • preferably everyday, but every other day works too :]

  • funny

  • i have a chinchilla that looks like that but takes a bath in a pan....:p

  • Awe. So cute.

    :]

  • lmao! I am legit laughing out loud! that was so cute

  • I don't know if you still have this chinchillas or others buy you should NEVER use a container that small or enclosed EVER. Dust particles can get trapped in their lungs causing respiratory problems which they're prone to anyway. A good dust bath container is a larger-than-the-chinchilla cardboard box with an open top.

  • omg i could just hug her so much shes so cute

  • if anyone needs help with a chinchilla just ask me

  • looks kinda like it's singing along

  • i kno right hes cute =]

  • The song sucks.

  • you suck

  • I might "suck" but you suck balls.

  • My family wants a chinchilla and im like only 13. So if someone can help me that'd be great. We are woried because of two things. Someone said it lives up to twenty years old, and that it takes dust baths. When you give it dust baths is dust gonna be all over my room.

  • it wouldn't live 20 yrs old, it would live around 8-15 and what you see in the video is a dust bath, the dustin in a container not on the floor so it won't get your room dusty just a small area or atleast from what i know it's best to do research

  • Funny Video !

He or she has the Rythm in the skin !

  • ummm ok then, lol.

  • it looks like the chinchilla is singing

  • MY FLIPPIN CHINCHILLA BoUnCeS- OfF tHe WalLs!!!!!!! CrAzY sHiT!

  • these animals are the bomb by grampa used to have a chinchilla farm they are so hard to catch when they get out

  • lmao, it just stops and is like "wtf is that?"

  • aw i love chinchillas

  • I HAVE A CHINCHILLA

  • I am about to get a chinchilla and i think they are really cool animals. This may be a dumb question but do they bite..as in if u pick it up would it?? i have always wondered

  • they nibble and sometimes it hurts but unless you REALLY scare them they shouldn't chomp down on you!

  • so it hurts when they nibble, ok then, lol. :)

  • My Chinchilla never bites

  • sometimes they would piss on u, no shit.

  • hii, I have a chinchilla and have almsot had him 4 two years now. Hes strange, because he has never bitten anyone before, and chinchillas aren't usually animals that like to be cuddled and such. But my chin is the opposite..... when u get a chinchilla, or if u already have 1, then the best place 2 scratch it is behind the ear or under the chin. Posting some vids of him soon!

  • love the jar!

  • Dont put him in a jar!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • it looks like its singing hahahah lolz soo cute!!

  • you must build a bigger cage ^^

  • HAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAH

That is soooooooo cute that is the cutes chinchilla in the world

    I LOVE THIS VIDEO

  • Lol thats your chilla is cute~! ^_^

  • aww, adjustdafacts, you have problems, stop commenting on these vids, you have no right watsoever to say this kind of stuff, especially on this kind of video... don't have something nice to say, keep your mouth shut

  • bro chill out :) He's just having a joke!

  • faggot go away their awsome period

  • LOL SINGING CHINCHILLA!!!!

  • WUAHHAHAHAHHAAHAHHHAHAHAHAHHAAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAAHHHAHAHHAH

    funny as Hell...

  • Haha..if you look at its mouth move, it looks like its rappin' to the song.

  • poor chin having to listen to that crap song....... cute chin though...

  • "WTF IS THAT NOISE?!"

  • Thats a great idea for a bath house.

  • WOW! PEOPLE its not your chinchilla!! ITS THERES!!!! YUP YOU DONT OWN IT THEY DO!!! SO ALL OF YOU GUYS GET A LIFE SERIOUSLY! YOUR ALL ACTING LIKE YOUR FUCKING TWO YEARS OLD. MAYBE YOU ARE IDK

  • its suggestions...maybe you should fucking chill!

  • U will never say "no" to a chinchilla !

  • my chinchillas have never tried to chew on the walls or door...

  • How do chinchilla's get clean if they hate getting wet?

  • Chins can't get wet.

    The fur will mold.

They love small enclosed spaces too.

The jar is a great idea for a bathhouse.

If you see the ones online they are tiny, and look like mini houses.

  • aw i love chinchillas

  • Nice chin. Grodey song.

And the chin needs a bathtub that doesn't roll.

  • hahahah this chin is adroable and the music tops it all off.

  • Ok almost ALL of the people who have commented are being really rude. Yes, I agree, this chinchilla should NOT be in a jar. So it doesnt roll.

Also, some one said something about chinchillas not liking to be wet, thats not true. But it is VERY unhealthy. When chins gets wet you are supposed to dry them off COMPLETELY because their hair traps in moisture and they will end up growing fungi in their fur and it can kill them.

Now Maybe you all should post more polite comments?

  • LOL I was literately laughing! It's sooooooooo cute!

  • I don't get that... why do chinchillas always roll in dust like that..?

  • They really do not like to have oils in there furs. But do not soak a chinchilla. They do not like getting wet.

  • one they are very clean critters and thats how they get clean two they hate getting wet

  • They want to get their whole body clean. I have a chinchilla. They love their dust baths.

  • :) Cute Chinchilla. Although I agree you need something between him and the wire.

  • lmao, this is hilarious :)

  • ok ,its mean! because its a jar! he cant get his legs up and roll properly cus its too smal and it rolling u dum as s how on earth is he supposed to take a dust bath when the jar is rolling??????!

and the wire will hurt his feet

yes chinchillas eat grass so thats not mean!

ur chinnie is very cute but hed be much happier if he could have a bath in a container that isnt moving and thats in!

my chinnie boy would not like his dust bath too MOVE WHEN HES IN IT!

  • YOU DO NOT PUT A CHINCHILLA IN A JAR!!!!!!! OMG U GUYS HAVE SERIOUS PROBLEMS!!! HOW WOULD YOU LIKE IT IF PUT U IN A FRICKEN JAR AND HAD YOU ROLL AROUND IN DUST???!!! HUH... YA I DIDNT THINK SO.. GET A NEW CAGE BE NICE TO IT OR JUST GIVE IT AWAY!!!!! PS:

    im serious

  • you're a serious dumbass. chincillas are supposed to have dustbaths. it keeps their coats nice and healthy. and it makes it more easier if it's in a jar like that. so don't get all bitchy. maybe someone needs to put you in a jar filled with dust to roll around in.

  • A jar is a little cheap in my opinion. Needs something a bit more sturdy. But chinchillas clean them selfs naturally in dust. Even in the wild! You know nothing about chinchillas.

  • UMMM dude.... you are missing the point: one the chinchilla s suppost to roll in dust. Two, the jar that the chilla was rolling in was so fricken funny!!!

  • Are you an idiot? Chinchilla's have to take dust baths in order to be healthy. And it's fine if they take them in jars. It's not like she PUT him in the jar. He went in on his own to take a bath. Maybe you should understand what you're talking about before you open your mouth. Thanks.

  • Must be scary- rolling in something that's

    rolling around uncontrollably.

    Think about it.

Also, it needs a new cage by the looks of

things- with wooden shelves and grassy mats

    off of the wire..

  • acually its rolling in its dust bath, what they take, while they roll, the glass is obiviolsy gonna roll, and chinchillas eat grass, because they cant process fatty foods, SO THERE HES TAKING CARE OF HIS CHINCHLLA GOOD

  • I don't want to butt-in or anything, but there were two things wrong with what you said.

A: Proper grammer - "Taking care of his chinchilla well"

B: They need to get the chinchilla off the wire because it causes calluses under their feet which is very bad for them.

Just thought I'd throw that out there. Other than that, good job on the dust bath, it looks like fun in something that rolls! lol

  • yeah sorry i no have good grammar(lol just kidding) and i forgot about that

  • hey i totally agree with you... look at my comment lol that is really wrong to do that

  • Is that chinchilla...Lip syncing

  • i think he is....

  • AWESOME

  • that lil' chinchilla could take a heck of a dust bath at my house! cute little thing

  • nice be sure that your chillas don;t stand on wire all day they need a flat surface to hang out on.

  • Your chinchilla is adorable. I, too, have chinchillas and I hope that you will consider placing something in the cage so that your beloved pet will have relief from the wire grating. Metal pans or straw mats...even flat pieces of wood will provide your pet with a comfortable place to recline and rest his or her paw pads. Additionally, Quality Cage Co. makes excellent cages with all wood shelves and a sliding pan base so that there is no painful wire grating at all :)

  • LOLLOLOLOLOLLL

  • *=^.^=

  • it looks like it is singing =^-=
