@Slurpzified Watermarks appear in Pinnacle Studio over content and effects that you do not own...there are three levels of Pinnacle Studio and if you have the Pinnacle Studio HD you will not have all of the effects of Pinnacle Studio Ultimate Collection!

11-27-11 my question is: how come picture number 3 on your video album did not show up? it showed picture 1, and then 2 and then to video 4. @IanAbuana The Album does show picture 3 when it zooms to show picture 1...the montage effect does not highlight pictue 3...this is not a flaw but a design from the effect operator. I like its artistic look but can see your frustration...unfortunately this can not be changed. I know that this is not the answer you want, so I am sorry in advance.

when I put videos and pictures in one montage an exclamation point shows up, but when I remove the video it goes away? Why is this happening?

@Frenrey The "!" means that the video or photos are not on the hard drive of the computer. Maybe you had them on an external hard drive and that drive is no longer hooked up to your computer. Or maybe you had them in one folder on your computer and linked them in Pinnacle Studio and then moved the folder on the hard drive of your computer. The most important thing is to make sure the files are on the computers hard drives. The "!" tells me they are missing.

@gateopenope Remember to delete all files from Windows Explorer to free up space and not from Pinnacle Studio. Make sure that this is what you want to do because deleting them is final and you will have to recapture if you still have the original source footage.

@ActIonzXD You should be able to take the file off of the Hard Drive and then put it in the Pinnacle Studio timeline. From the timeline you would be able to edit it and then export it as a file, dvd or to the web. I do not know what your PVR records at...so I would download the free 30 day trial of Pinnacle Studio to make sure that my files work before buying it.

@DannyMcClure98 Of course it is...actually you as a user need to decide that. Pinnacle recently released Pinnacle Studio 15 and AVID Studio. Depending on your level of editing you should choose accordingly...if you are a beginner I would look at the Pinnacle Studio 15 and if you are more of an advanced user I would look into AVID Studio...it has many nice features and unlimitted layers of editing.

how can I resize the pictures in pinnacle when I add them to the montage theme?

@N00R91 This is easy to do. Put the picture on the timeline and resize the photo...now drag the photo from the timeline to the dropzone of the montage and your picture now is resized. Now you can delete your photo from the timeline and it remains in the Montage. Bonus tip: Add Pan and Zoom to the photo and then drag it to the drop zone...now the photo has movement in the montage.

@Alltimeboxing I am sorry to hear that this happen to you but did you save the project when you started editing? It is always important to save a copy of your project. Pinnacle Studio has Instant Save, which means that you will never lose a project...if the software closes down unexpectantly, when you relaunch the program it will ask you if you want to continue working on the project you were working on...if you select this option then your complete project opens.

@Xa3Zgamin1 I would like to think it is me but I used the AVID Vocal Studio Microphone connected directly via USB into Pinnacle Studio. The microphone is really nice and I use it to record all of my vocals directly into the computer. I hope that this helps!

@winnatwin Select the clip you want to add speed too...then click on the filter called Speed and the speed change will be added to your video...now choose if you want it fast or slow. I am not quite sure why you are ending up on a different clip. Cheers, Anthony

@iFuZexClan Montages consist of a beginning, segues and endings...you can mix all of the different themes together. Once you drag a montage to the timeline you will see that drop zones exist. You can drag photos or videos to these drop zones. It is really simple to create these type of effects. I hope that this helps.

@iFuZexClan The pictures that are in the album montage are the montage itself. Like it said surfing the champs the those pictures that came after is the montage. Its a picture montage not a video one like you see in CoD vids.

@iisuperxflashii Did you save the Project File? Simply open the Project File that you saved it under and your project should open up. Also make sure that you are looking in the correct folder that you saved your project file in.

@tmarpe You can edit your photos from the timeline before putting them in the drop zone. For example, you may want to recrop the photo. Drag it to the timeline, double click on it...Pan and Zoom opens and now change the position of your photo. Now drag the photo from the timeline to the drop zone on Montage and you have eaisly re-edited your photo.

Gotta love Pinnacle Studio 14 Ultimate collection! My dad is a professional photographer/videographer and he do some editings. He prefer pinnacle, but I wonder if there is any other way to get more video tracks?

Pinnacle Studio is a consumer based editor with two traditional video tracks but you can get creative with it. Montage will work on all three tracks (both video and the title track). The new Motion titler will also work on all three tracks too...remember that you can bring video and photos into the Motion Titler...the Motion Titler is like a compositor. So yes you can create complex layered looks in Pinnalce Studio, but must create in a creative way.
