ok so this argument has been going on for some time... it's a different take on a beautiful song. blink have always been good at twisting their way through punk pop melodies. I don't dislike this cover because it's uniquely blinks version, but the cure is one of my all time favorite bands so this cover just doesn't live up to the origional.

it's barely comparable with the original. i personaly like this one better, becuz of the transition from soft(verses) to hard(chorous) and cuz the original isn't one of my favorites by the cure anyway(cut here and plastic passion are)

when the cure play this song, it is ok, kind of mellow, but blink adds punkyness to it, they make it into a truely amazing song. it is one of my favorite songs by them and i have every single blink song on my ipod
