Seeing the Batman serials of the 1940s, it is plain to see where the 60's show got its inspiration from. At first, I thought I was actually watching the 60's show but in black and white, espeically the 1943 serial, but after awhile I noticed something is different.
Anyway, thanks... I'd like to see the 1943 original posted... the DVD is a LUXURY... you can't find it ANYWHERE... believe me, I've tried
I don't know as campy as this is in some ways it is 1940's movie serial camp, and far from as campy as the 1960's television show. I like this version a lot.
I actually bought both serials at Wal-Mart, a couple of years ago. They released them with Batman Begins. Nothing wrong with watching the old generation's Batman. Keep them coming, if possible.
These are great thanks for taking the time to upload them.

I will get to the 1943 after 1949 hopefully. I have it on DVD and think I can turn it into video files.
