  • this mucked mine up

  • lol IE8... you fail. Opera and IE9 ftw

  • @BOS6940 IE 9 was not out 2 years ago.

  • @darksaiyan2006

    No, but Opera was.

  • @BOS6940 I don't like Opera. I prefer Chrome.

  • @darksaiyan2006

We all have our opinions. And in mine, Chrome is terrible. (On my new tablet, I'm using IE9 since it's adapted for touch.

  • Is it possible to hook a laptop up to a computer just to use the laptop for a keyboard / monitor?

  • what happens when your notebook battery dies what happens to the page that was on that screen??? does it dissappear.... Like this comment if you want to know as well

  • do you install this on the laptop or notebook?

  • my god you have the same dell studio as me! (great computer by my book)

  • I found something free as alternative. it is called zone screen. It does work on windows 7 64 bit and ofcourse everything below. the only drawback when you use win vista/7 is that you need to run windows in test mode to install the driver. and if you don't set it up correctly you will end up having a bluescreen and have to reboot... but it works quite nicely when you have it set up correctly.

  • 0:50 Windown seven lets you vertically or horizontally tile both active windows. But for vista this is pro.

  • you dont hapen to know where to get hold of this for free?

  • cool program but you have to pay for it for the version that works with Vista/7. i found a free version on download.com but it only supports up to XP. and im sorry but this program is not worth $40

  • @ShinobiGarth I purchased it because it was cheaper than buying an extra video card and monitor when I had an old notebook laying around. It also let me use my work desktop with my personal laptop as a second monitor which was handy.

  • @imjoshdotcom do you know of any alternate programs that is free but works with 7? i just dont want to spend $40 on this

  • @ShinobiGarth Sorry not yet. You can use Synergy which is a virtual KVM to control the mouse and keyboard of the other computer for free but no screen sharing.

  • Thanks, I'll check out Input Director.

  • Hi Josh, you should give input director a try, it's like this but only the mouse and keyboard function, but it's free ideal for your needs.

  • Very cool. What does it cost? Eric
