@commoguru the main difference is beats per minute, faster in trance music, slower for house, somewhere in between for techno. There's differences in the use of the kick drum and transitions and so forth, so what? it's like saying that Led Zeppelin and The Doors cannot both be rock because they are so different...there are more similarities than differences in most electronic dance music and the songs are either good or bad, irrelevant of the slight differences between sub-genres

@fabsternyc The main difference between techno and house is that house tends to be more organic and warm that techno, which tends to use, well, technology in favor of the organic kicks and vocals of house. House also uses the four-on-the-floor pattern, with a percussion on the second and fourth beats, which Trance and Techno don't require. Trance is supposed to be really emotional and drawn out. They're all really different.

Now, I don't know about you, but to me the two versions sound very different. In THIS remix, Benassi used the voices of the original singers. The COVER by Royal Gigolos is sung by The Royal Gigolos!!!

Plus! The Royal Gigolo's cover starts with " Hold me my sweet, hold me love, hold me god..." which I don't hear anywhere in this remix.
