Hi, im so sorry for your lost, we have a mini schnauzer too till last thursday, she died in a car accident too, shes only 1 year old, we miss her so much, im not a pet person since we have her, she change my whole life.... now i dont know how to move on with out my mini schnauzer, my husband got her for me for

my birthday.....

Ocoda, it's very hard. We waited several months after losing Teddy and I watched the local animal shelters looking for a mini schnauzer. We adopted Slater... he's very different than Teddy who was much more well-behaved, but we love him and his quirks. Don't laugh, but if I had a fenced in yard I would have a pair of schnauzers that would keep each other tired out :) There are many out there waiting for you to come and save them when you are ready. 2cpus4me

I am truly sorry for your loss. Thank you for sharing this with us. We lost our Miniature Schnauzer Max this year. It is hard to see his pics as we miss him so. I feel lucky to have had him as my friend for the length of time we had.

Hopefully you will get a new one. As I mentioned to Ocoda, who also lost her schnauzer recently, there are many in shelters waiting to be rescued by someone like you... when the time is right. 2cpus4me

Thanks. Yes, Teddy was a dream sidekick. Its been over two years and we still miss him a lot. Fortunately we have Slater now, and he's high maintenance and keeps us quite busy. In the future I hope to get another Mini so Slater has a Buddy. Thanks again.

Aw w w w w Sorry For Your Loss. That Brought Back Memmories Of My Schnoodle. Pebbles Looked Just Like Teddy, Maybe A Bit Smaller. Ahe Was 16 When She Passed. They Are Playing By The Rainbow Bridge While They Wait For Us. ;0)

I hope so. Teddy was a gift and came into my life at a time I didn't even realize I needed him. I knew someday he would be gone, but I thought it would happen slowly and I'd have some time to prepare. We love our new rescue dog 'Slater', but not a day goes by that I don't miss Teddy.

What a handsome boy Teddy was - i'm so sorry to hear about your sad loss. I lost my own miniature schnauzer Lexie last year in a car accident also - she was only 6 months. I didn't have my dog as long as you had yours but i know what you went through & are still going through. I now have another schnauzer called Evee who has helped me get over my loss - but i'll never get over losing Lexie. Hopefully Teddy & Lexie are together in "doggie heaven". XX

I so am gonna go find my dogs and love on them! Teddy looked almost exactly like my older schnauzer, except my Dusty has some poodle in him, and his ears and tail were never docked... so one of his ears sits up and one sits down, and his tail curls over his back. But I've got a purebred mini schnauzer - Gigi, who is absolutely beautiful... kind of a naughty one tho! But I'm about to go find them and give them hugs and kisses! I'm so sorry about Teddy... !

In my backyard I have 5 minis buried. The years have seen a lot ot sweetness in that backyard and I've had the pleasure of having them all in my life. What a moving tribute you have. My heart goes out to you. Angel and I know how you feel. I'm sure he was a pleasure to you and is missed terribly.

I'm glad you liked the video. It surprised me, too, how different he looked in many of the photos. He was very smart, gave unsolicited hugs where he would wrap his paws around your neck, and would howl like a wolf on command. Unfortunately I don't have any video of that.

Thank you for the kind thoughts. Yes, Teddy was like a child to us and 5 months later we still have a tough time accepting that he is gone... It happened so fast. It was hard to put together his tribute. We have since gotten another mini schnauzer you might have seen named Slater. Slater is a character, too, and is adjusting well after coming from a shelter.
