Yes, it's pretty universal between poi and doubles. I just don't like the term "inspin". If you watch, half the staff is always moving OUT from the center, yet it's supposed to be INspin? And the word inspin doesn't flow very well, two accented words smashed together. Alternatively, "Forward Flower' could be fit into Shakespearian verse.
And this is why I called it what I did. Hey, you brought it up :)

btw in the poi world we'd call that inspin flowers(your forward flowers)... oh and im pretty sure you can call it that in staff too... lolz
