  • New media has helped to save Singapore. I don't think it's just 40% who wanted change. Just in Mr Chiam See Tong's GRc they got 43% even in his weakened state. If he had not had his stroke, his GRC would have won and so would Mrs Chiam. People are ready for more checks and balances.

  • @vidz8181. Respectful, that's like saying steam trains allowed great progress in the past and so we have to stick to them regardless of changing times. A political party is an evolving creature. Look at what it is today vs what is was when our grandfathers were around...

  • The 60% must love to be living with 3rd world foreigners,go and embrace them,900 000 are on thir way here already....

  • PAP gave your parents and grandparents jobs. Be thankful. Be appreciative. They are the way forward.

  • @vidz818

    Thankful my ass.

Past is past now is now. Don't you know that?

What they are doing now is discrediting all the good they did in the past.

  • IF its not PAP , SINGAPORE WILL NOT HAV TODAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Another one sided video.

  • i smell foul play with the polling result this election. the way the news are report and halt, the delay of announcement, and the sudden disappearance of the opposition rally. something ain't right.

  • Agree

  • I cried when I watched this :( The lyrics, the song befits the message sent across. Siti Hamidah, the song title is Everybody Changes by Keane.

  • What kind of society do we want??? Now is the time to ponder this question seriously!Do we really want an authoritarian government forever??? Or are we really ready for a sliver of Democracy to shine through the cracks of Oppression???

I believe We are ready to taste the bittersweetness of a Democractic future.

  • Great video !! I think we have ENOUGH of PAP....let have the courage to vote for the change, for ourselves and for our children. We don't want to give the impression to foreigners that Singaporeans have no nut.

  • As of 5 May 2011: Channel News Asia Discussion forum has been shut down, Hardware zone forum also has been shutdown...Is this a coincidence? Is this a tactic for the netizen not to campaign and reject PAP? Strange... This is the first time I have seen CNA forum been shutdown under the pre-text "..under maintenance.." and hardware zone forum "...server does not send data.."... What else is shutdown?

  • 谢谢,给力。

  • Singaporeans, you have only yourselves to blame for the situation you are in. You voted in the PAP election after election. I am sad to say that the next five years will be more of the same.

    Good luck.

  • @dannythedudeman You are correct sir. It is their fault. Sadly, I am the minority that sees this as the problem.

Maybe I will have to leave SG one day for good.

  • whats e song?

  • You are abosultely right. Every dollar increase in our asset value is one more dollar that our children have to pay. Worst of all, my flat is already 35 years old will less than 65 years to go. Even if I can pass it on to my children, they have to pay and pay. I have 1 flat and 4 children... what about the other 3???

  • PAP is in for a rude awakening. They will be ruined.

  • It is true!

  • don't wait another 52 years.

  • need more of these for cooling off day. spread the word.
