La versione italiana è più lunga, infatti tramite un montaggio ripetono il balletto 2 volte, il momento del taglio è quando il musicista fa l'occhiolino per la seconda volta.

Actually, the only version of this song I like better is Leon Redbone's. I think what made this duo great was that they were truly close, life-long friends which lent heart-and impeccable timing to their act. As a kid in the 70s I used to sit up for late night tv (pre-cable!) & watch Laurel & Hardy theater...loved it! Thanks for sharing!
When I was a child my parents were Abbott and Costello fans, and we attended several of their movies when I was young. When I was 9 years old, Laurel and Hardy movies began to appear on TV, and I forgot all about Bud and Lou. Stan and Ollie were the absolute best -- impeccable timing, total believability, and they had such wonderful heart.

@lollobello si, capisco che era il periodo, ma il mio è uno sfogo personale, perchè tutt'oggi si tende a italianizzare le opere straniere, e spesso in questa pratica si perdono dei particolari molto interessanti
I second that emotion! They truly did represent the BEST in comedy...and without being vulgar or using profanity! Most of today's alleged "comics" could learn a LOT from Stan & Ollie! :)
I love this. It takes me bnack to my childhood. But there is something very sad about this scene too. Maybe just the feeling that we will never see their like again.
all the vaudeville-era performers had to be able to do a little of everything - play an instrument, sing a little, dance a little, juggle, etc. - probably so they could fill different roles at whatever theater they were performing at that week.
i love this scene, i love this movie and i love them!!! ollie had a great voice and stan was a great dancer...i'm italian and i love both version of this song =)

Stan Jefferson (Laurel) was Chaplin's roomate on several tours with Karno Pantomime British troupes. He like Chaplin knew some dance moves.
