These were the good old days when McCaffrey was on the field. I wish the Broncos got their heads out of their asses now a days and started winning some games. Act more like McCaffrey. Still a Coloradian to the heart and soul though.
I doubt he's ever going into the HOF. However, he was a key contributor in the Broncos first two Super Bowl wins. So he (and Rod Smith) should definitely be in their Ring of Fame.
Secondly, that is Darren Sharper making a piss poor tackle attempt.
I'm a huge Broncos fan & would love to see Ed get in the HOF, but he only had a couple Pro-Bowl seasons. There's a better chance of Rod Smith getting the yellow jacket. He owns some NFL records and got to the Pro-Bowl more than Ed.
I remember when he played QB in HS. Too bad his team was pitiful. Believe it or not we all thought he would play basketball in college. His whole family is full of great athletes. They are great people as well!
ed is the human punching bag. every time he got hit going for a catch he got clobbered and thrown around like a rag doll. any vids of that, miss those games back in the day
We need a new acronym. G.O.A.T. is well known. I nominate Ed Mac for M.U.O.A.T.-Most Underrated Of All Time. Whoever the idiots were from the NYG & the 49ers who cut or traded him, I hope that they're more suitably employed today repeating the phrase, "Paper or plastic?"
I was at the Green Bay game, what a catch and what a second, third and fourth effort to fight of the DB and get into the end zone - Griese had a great game in that one.
Love the block in the Supebowl, lved it when he pointed to the LB as he lay on the floor seeing stars...
That clip was from the old Mile High which was torn down after the 01 season. Plummer was signed by the Broncos prior to the 03 season and worn number 16 not 6. Get your facts straight.

Fucking shitty ass video quality, who the fuck records their tv using a video camera?? That produces the shittiest quality. And what the hell is wrong with you putting such a shitty song to go with a football vid??? God damnit, you're a fucking disgrace!
When you do make part two... be sure to get the broken leg... that was the most bad ass moment in his career. To break your leg and hold on to the ball... amazing.
Ed McCaffery didn't start until after his 30th birthday...what a shame and it was only b/c of injury to a "superior" black player. McCaffery was almost as athletic as Randy Moss. McCaffery ran a 4.38 hand timed 40 yard in College...translates to about a 4.40-4.45 electronic. His hands were unreal.
In my opinion, that is the greatest catch in the history of the NFL. One handed, behind ball, over the middle, that he held onto in spite of receiving a compound fracture of his leg. I've NEVER witnessed a better example of concentration and committment at the WR position.
He is my uncle

Was that Darren Sharper on the first player? That was one of the worst attempts to tackle a player I've seen.
As for McCaffery, he was the man. Never seen him play but I've seen a lot of NFL Films and the guy was just a football player through and through.
