Um, no it doesn't. Your focus just remains on the top of the pair of pitches. When it ends, make sure you're listening to the bottom pitch as well, it starts over at the bottom.

One thing I like about Floyd is that they were truly unique and they didn't change their musical styles to try to please record execs., fill stadiums and sell their music. It's a pretty simple thing. You play all the octaves together, then your brain zeros in on one octave and follows it up the scale when you replay the video.

Three sounds which go up the scale (not synchronized) and when they reach the top they start over again. Because the other two are still going up, we don't notice when one of them starts over.
