Uriah Heep never was one of my favorites groups, i always prefered Sabbath Purple but Wake the Sleeper album changed my perspectives about the Heep. It´s a great bunch of songs! the best i heard in many years and Book of Lies it´s my favorite. Now i love Uriah Heep (but also love Sabbath and Purple too).
Very good arrangements and musicianship, but the production really sucks ! It sounds so lame and muffeled. They really need a sharp and angry production instead of this nice mellow sound .
@mickviking1 hey man uriah heep was formed in 1969 remember the black sabbath paranoid stomp box sound in 1972 ???
production was probibly the best the had yety a little muffled and and mellow but that what uriah heep was man mellow chill the fuck out kinda stuff not angry man
Esto es rock con clase y no guitarrazos a lo pendejo! Uriah Heep sacó un muy buen album pese a que ya están "viejitos" Viejos los cerros y aun echan palos.
I lover Uriah Heep, they sound so fresh and still sound like our Uriah Heep. I will take all versions of the band. Please just keep on making music for us to enjoy.
@garyraybuckner Lee Kerslake ain't dead! He only left Heep because of bad health and was replaced by Russell Gilbrook! Recently I saw a video of him from May 2010 where he joined an unknown band called Carballo Brohthers and it was really sad to see him in a condition like this as he really looked not good and very very overweighted!
esta banda não pode morrer, enquanto produzirem musica como esta.
um dos melhores discos da banda,
a idade é conselheira

I don't think Lee Kerslake is dead, he left the band because of his health. But I think he is still alive.

I liked the original members of the band...only the
drummer (Lee Kerslake) and the lead guitarist (Mick Box) remain in the current line-up..they still sound great though. Lee Kerslake has since died.
