hahaha! I've had him for a very long time and just can't seem to get rid of him.......I too am in the process of re-doing my garage into my Office/sewing Space, some day soon I will post the finished product......
The border is almost 20 years old but I always did love it and it brings back LOTS of memories of my daughter when she was little so I'm not in any big hurry to change or update it :o)
I thought of getting rid of that border but I loved it when I bought it for my daughter years ago and it's still fine now :o) Brings back a lot of memories too!
thanks a lot for sharing your hobby room ideas , i got some tips from it . You sould make some videos with the hand work that you are doing too . Thanks again keep up the good work
Thanks for your comments!! As for making some videos ~ I don't even know really how to do that and would probably need a better camera ... I don't like the sound of my own voice so it's not something I'm seriously thinking about -- at least now yet :o)
@AboundingTreasures ....You dont like the sound of your own voice??? You're kidding, it's so fluent and smooth. You could easily earn a living from that alone never mind crafting!!! Roll on the videos. :)
@vulnusdulce .... your comment made me smile!! I've NEVER heard anyone ever describe my voice like that before :o) ... Roll on the videos? Time will tell ...
I think your craft room is beautiful.. perfect.. love the paisley pillow too that I saw.. lol.. a very cozy happy peaceful room it seems..perfect for inspiration when working on projects!
Believe it or not, but since I made that video, I'm running out of storage space!!
And thanks, it IS a cozy, happy, peaceful room ~ full of good memories and perfect for inspiration and it's much better that my work surface there is messy rather than my dining room table :o)
What a lovely room - some great ideas on storage too. I particularly like the shoe box storage system. I really love your card designs too.I do agree with the posting below, you do sound like Jane Fonda :p
You gave me a *good laugh* when you said that I had a great voice and sound like Jane Fonda :o)
Don't be nervous as a crafter ~ everyone has talent :o) BTW - do you have a blog where you share some of your creations?
I sometimes contemplate doing a tutorial but at the moment have no way of filming myself ... no way to hold the camera somewhere while I demonstrate making something simple ... CAS style o(
@AboundingTreasures - oh dearie me I'd never put my creations on line, I'd be far too embarrassed having seen your cards and the like. I dont even have a proper craft space - just a kitchen table. This isn't even my channel I'm borrowing it from my nephew to surf the crafters. Some great ideas - I love your cards. So professional. Really charming. I hope you do a tutorial one day. x
Take a look at my blog and on the top RIGHT HAND corner is a quote that you need to read ~ I found it somewhere and it helped me to realize that each of us has a talent for making our own style of cards and crafts ... you *need* to read it :o)
Thanks for all your good wishes and I'd love to see some of your paper creations!
@AboundingTreasures ; That is a lovely quote - A very encouraging sentiment indeed. I'll try and upload some cards one day. When I figure out how too that is !
Up until I made this video of my taken over craft area, I used my kitchen table too and I had lots of fun doing so ... it was just NO fun having to clear everything away before I was finished a project :o)
I enjoyed the tour! I am in the process of sorting out all of the "stuff" that found it's way into my craft room. I can do it! :)
I usually listen to books on tape, I am addicted! And you do not even know it, but you already gave your first mini tutorial... covering the H with paper. Great idea. Thanks for sharing your room.
Thanks and good luck re-organizing your own craft room!
I had to chuckle when you mentioned I had inadvertently given my 1st mini-tutorial ~ covering the H with paper!
I didn't do a good job of making it smooth ... has bubbles in it so I'm not sure what to do with it now? I guess it's just a decoration of what *could have been* and now sits on one of my shelves -- I've added more since this video :o)
I really appreciate your craft room. MIne is about the same or a bif smaller. I would love to have those fancy, expensive scrapbooking rooms like the other people on here, unfortantly I can't afford it. TO me all a crafter needs is a desk, and a big imagination. Everything else is just vanity.
I love your matter of fact down to earth attitude! Your room is beautiful and love that border!! Your just great and I sure hope you start making videos of your cards, Your creative process ect. Just love your style!
I keep ministry teaching cd's in my room too. Always inspiring and keeps me grounded and grateful.
@Marticaluv11 ~ Thanks very much!! It's changed quite a bit since this video was taken so I suppose I should do an update sooner than later :)

I agree with you -- all you need is a big desk, imagination and some supplies ... the rest is icing on the cake but not necessary :o)
