Keith Olbermann is a Statesman, unafraid to state the Truth. He speaks for those of us who share his opinion, but have no platform from which to speak. May Keith always find a microphone to speak to those ears and minds open enough to receive the Truth.
"A protest that (sic) grew a little stale around the edges?" Did you get hit by a football on the sidelines, Slobberman? Local businesses lost around $500,000 because customers couldn't get past the screaming, smelly OWSers. Some of these losers and cowards confronted people walking their children to school! And that G-ddammed Batman movie brought more $ to NYC than wasted cleaning up after OWS. OWS and everything out of Keith's mouth are movements, all from the bowels.
What gets me is that they're are people out here who are not the 1% totally against the occupy movement. The 99% is taking pepper spray, billy clubs and tear gas to the face and all some ignorant people can say is they are dumb and stupid. Well look it the mirror dummy cause you're looking at the image of stupidity. Get your mouth off Fox News nuts!
Does this man really go on for eight minutes regarding this bullshit? Keith, you are foaming. You and your thesaurus need a long vacation since nobody is listening. Up the meds pal, you're irrelevant.
@itsallthesametothem Or maybe you just can't understand what he's saying because as your name implies, "it's all the same to you." You're simply a mindless wanderer in a country where you are being fucked right up the ass. Or maybe you're the 1%.
@mbuckminster So you have the exclusive on what people should know and the pusle of the country is that it? I can understand what he says, but if you go back two years it's the same mantra. Anyone who aligns themself with a failed commentator or a politicalparty is delusional. Be independent and don't defend this sort.
@mbuckminster Let me also ask why this hatful man who pretends to be for the downtrodden is really another gasbag with a large contract and pretends he understands the pain of the common man. I live in the home my family built and in a place as diverse as anywhere you might find. Keith is a pompous gasbag and reads others' writing - without belief I might add.

Hey Liberals! Wake Up! This is Big Government on Parade! Anti-Gun Laws create a police state that stomps out competition. Ah So "Progressive"!
Bloomberg let this get out of control because he could have just kicked the few dozen stragglers out the first night of OWS. But no, they hoped it would become the Left's Tea Party. Olbermann's analysis of our painful national progress toward true democracy is excellent. This analysis is essentially what I taught my History classes for decades.
@tragicmia305 What has it accomplished ? It has jumped the shark . Its over as it should be . The only thing this has done is cost cash strapped cities money it doesn't have . Enough is enough . The first few weeks they got their message out now its one big joke . Being there is not changing a thing . Some of the people in the encampments WANT a confrontation with the police thinking it will help the cause .
You're talking about it. The president and Republicans are talking about it. Jamie Dimon (CEO of Chase) is talking about them. Bloomberg is talking about them. Hell, even Faux News is talking about them. And before OWS few of these people said anything about growing wealth inequity and debt. That's a start. The longer it goes on MAYBE we can have a discussion what to do about these real problems that have been largely ignored for forty years.
@tkchrist I couldn't agree more! Fuck yeah OWS. Every day it goes on I believe more and more that there's a real change happening in America. Hell, not just America - the world. Did you know there were occupy movements in Columbia, Malaysia, South Korea, New Zealand, Belgium, Japan, and Isreal? We're everywhere now.
@tkchrist I have to agree, fundamental to all our current problems is that the national discourse is no longer capable of even addressing those problems, instead the national news focuses all day on sensationalist bullshit. Finally, the national discourse is starting to take note of the real problems, the financial inequality and the political corruption, no one wanted to talk about these issues, so OWS can feel a sense in accomplishment in at least forcing them to begin the discussion.
@kenw215 Yeah, people WANT confrontations with police. That's why protesters have remained peaceful despite the fact that they have been brutalized by police. The problem with people like you is that you watch Hannity and O'Reilly and you Eat, swallow and digest their lies.. Its ok though, the 99% doesn't need 99% participation for it to be effective. 20,000+ people at Foley Square yesterday means that this movement is just getting started. Its not going anywhere.
Respond to this video... I've missed you Keith your rants of the truth are the very reason msnbc let you go.I no longer watch them. And so now cenk will be joining you for the same reason. You've completely expressed how I feel right now .Thank You !
we are serious. This is only the beginning, with the help of the internet, and the free exchange of ideas and instant dissemination of information it affords us, it is just a matter of time. I have noticed such an awakening of people, in just the last 6 months or so. Its truly amazing, the best part is,we are just getting started. Thank you for reading my rant.
who is pissed off at this fraudulent pyramid scheme they call capitalism or our monetary system, ur not, there are literally millions of us, worldwide who are. Now all we need to do is band together and TAKE BACK, the power that is rightfully ours, that was stolen from Americans back in 1913, by the privately owned cartel of international banksters. As occupy gains strength throughout the coming months, eventually we need a nationwide strike, a week or so should do it. to let the elites know we
in the united states. That is the only way we will ever break the debt slavery cycle inflicted upon the 99% of humans around the world. So again, thank you Keith Olbermann for speaking truth to power. If you do not have current tv thru ur local cable provider, as we in N KY do not thru insight cable, call your cable provider and threaten to cancel cable tv for direct tv so you can have access to current tv, PS, the young turks is also coming to current. If you think ur the only one out there
earlier this year. There is a reason why occupy is alive and well in over 80 countries, the world, the 99% across the world is waiting for the American spring to happen. Personally, I think it will, as our financial situation becomes more desparate for more americans. Solution: The death of the debt money system, if you do not know what that is or do not know the fraudulent way in which money is created, learn it, I suggest watching "Money Masters", its on you tube. This revolution has to start
for two reasons. first, because no matter how many times the media calls this a recession, economic downturn, etc, its not. This is a DEPRESSION. and freedom is just another word for nothing left to lose, and many of us have NOTHING left to lose, and second, this is the first movement armed with INSTANT ELECTRONIC COMMUNICATION, and the immense dessemination of information it facilitates. I feel, the elite power structure has no idea what they are really up agianst. Look at the Arab spring
do nothing more than to strengthen our cause. Like Olbermann said, we need elitists like bloomberg to keep throwing gas on the fire, because anyone who knows anything about america, our attention span is little more than 30 days at the most, so I join Olbermann in thanking bloomberg for being such a putz and "helping" to keep the movement strong. Whether you agree with me or not, I can say.movements come and go, some, like civil rights, did accomplish quite a bit, but this movement is special,
him, IS A TOOL OF THE BANKS. So where does that leave us? the 99% in the "political" process? It gives us a little less than a year, to further organize, and get behind someone of a third party. Obviously the one party, two faction system we have now, is not working. I know this started as a salute to Olberman,m and ended up a rant against our political/corporate/banking regime that has had a death grip on our country since 1913. I apologize for that. I think that the actions of Bloomberg will
use force is your own. That way the president has plausible deniability. So, in this way obama's administration can "help" but not actually help. It shows without a doubt, that whether you are a demoplican or a republicrat, you are OWNED by the banks and corporations. I was wondering why Obama was being so mute on the issue of OWS. And now I am seeing it perfectly clear. this also explains why he hasn't fulfilled any of his campaign promises from 08. Because he, like the administration before
quite the opposite, he took him to task, stating, he is convienently enroute to Austrailia, also saying there was a conference call between 18 mayors across the country earlier this week, that DHS, among other federal agencies were lending advice and support to the mayors to clear out the occupy movements across the country, while stating that it is up to each municipality to do what they think is right. That is classic politics, I'll help with advice and logistical support, but the decision to
Olbermann is definately not afraid to speak truth to power. Nov 15th seems to be a day Olbermann gives very stirring comments, (see Nov 15th 2010). In my opinion, Olbermann is the ONLY real "journalist", in the classic sense, left on the mainstream media, as far as current tv is mainstream. If you remember back to the days following 9/11, O'reiley made a comment saying to disagree with the president, or protesting would be "unamerican", Olbermann is the opposite, he does not dick ride obama,
Excellent comment. I would suggest everyone look up a lecture by Noam Chomsky entitled "Corporate-State Complex" and also read the latest columns by Chris Hedges at Truth Dig
This comment has received too many negative votesshow
All of those movements >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> OWS
They do not compare, Bloomberg does not compare to Wallace. Those figures did not cause the movement, they strengthened what was already one hell of a strong movement. The concept is that the police action is meant to boost support in the long-term, not the short. What I'm saying is this, Canadians want their fucking park back. OWS, take a page from the Tea Party, and do it right, get rid of the god damn tent cities.
Hey Fixed longtime. Thanks for posting. Excellent. Keith cooks! Bloomberg blows....
What a great editorial. Shame on Bloomberg and Quan and others who are trying to undermine the Occupy movement. Power to the people...long live Occupy.

Its not going anywhere.

we are serious.

@Rary113 I can answer that: since people stopped fighting for the first amendment, it has become easy for the "rich" to shut people up.
