oh ok..and i kno the R46s are still on the F as well..but when the R160s are fully on the E and F its bye bye for the R32s..R40Ms/R42s are gonna be the last to go..theres only like just a litte over 200 cars left on the R32s...they mite be all gone by end of this year..but they were really the signature on the E

did you forget the C train? as soon as nyct settles themselves down, all R32/40M/42s at Jamaica will be retired, but the R32s at 207th Street and R42s at ENY are staying until at least Winter 2010. there are 249 R42s and 286 R32s still in service. the 207th Street R32s will be the last cars replaced by the R160s and they are staying until Spring 2010.

I saw In coney Island yard the other day a 4 car set of R68 set to (E).

The whole train was set to that, though It is unusual to see 75 footers on the E even thgought there use to be occasional R46 on the E.

there are still 1-2 sets on the E. you just do not see them everyday, but they are on the F. now that the R40 slants are retired. it is time for the R40Ms to go.

well the folks in charge of it say otherwise, so we'll wait and see. The only reason it was delayed was account "plan 4" which calls for all trains to be stored underground.
