I like Palin, but I would have prefered Romney. She is an excellent speaker, not as good as Obama but very good. Given McCain's age, she has a very real chance of becoming President within the next 5 years. We should give her a hard look before voting. I think she'll wipe up the floor with Biden in a debate. McCain is daring the Obama campaign to criticize Palin's experience. The frustration from McCain is that the MSM was not properly investigating Obama's inexperience. By picking a relatively inexperienced candidate, he brings that issue into laser-like focus. Palin will be vetted and as a result, Obama finally will too. And the end result will show that Obama experience is as thin as Palin and the initial mocking of Palin from the media must now be applied to Obama.
The left wing blogs are buzzing. The DailyKos is claiming that Palin's 5th child, the baby, is not her child. Those cowards claim it is really her teenage daughters and she's just covering.

Denver that looked like an old setup from a Star Trek series, Apollo episode. I was waiting for him to say "Spock, you got open up your mind to greater things. Explore new avenues into the horizon." Instead I heard him running against a guy who is leaving office in a few months.
I think McCain just insured his own defeat. And, "we" are NOT all happy. I typically vote republican but I have sense enough to realize that most educated voters do not believe she is qualified to be commander and chief. The republican party may well just, have handed the whole thing to Obama.
What about Obamas qualifications? Hes a senator. Palin has executive experience as a mayor and a government. McCain has gotten a huge boost in the polls. Obama lost his double digit lead in a matter of months, and isn't even polling well in his home state.
A little bit more on the preposterous side those claims from the Democrats. They just didn't want anyone stealing Obama's thunder and have done everything they can to discredit her. But it will blow up in their faces when it's said and done.

As far as that goes condoms are not really that effective at preventing pregnancy.
The only 100% way of preventing pregnancy is a form of hormonal birth control. Abstinence only works if you don't have sex, and that doesn't happen often. Palin tried, didn't work.
Palin's daughter is in a relationship, it wasn't just some random casual sex.

Romney was a flip-flopper and a Mormon which wouldn't go well over certain people; Huckabee was fiscally liberal (at least as Governor); Giuliani is pro-choice (although I voted for him the primary); Tom Ridge is also pro-choice; Rob Portman, Duncan Hunter, and Tom Tancredo are Congressman and Congressman don't do well on national tickets today; Joe Lieberman didn't wan't it; In my opinion, Sarah Palin can't hurt the ticket.

I like Palin, but I would have prefered Romney. She is an excellent speaker, not as good as Obama but very good. Given McCain's age, she has a very real chance of becoming President within the next 5 years. We should give her a hard look before voting. I think she'll wipe up the floor with Biden in a debate. McCain is daring the Obama campaign to criticize Palin's experience. The frustration from McCain is that the MSM was not properly investigating Obama's inexperience. By picking a relatively inexperienced candidate, he brings that issue into laser-like focus. Palin will be vetted and as a result, Obama finally will too. And the end result will show that Obama experience is as thin as Palin and the initial mocking of Palin from the media must now be applied to Obama.
