  • I love this film very much. I didn't know that they deal about every fight move before the presentation. Haha Anyway Mickey Rourke showed brilliant acting and deserved the Oscar. Sean Penn was much worse in 'Milk' but I guess academics are obsessed with "gay rights" too much. Marisa Tomei was stunning too

  • nice review. this movie is AMAZING

  • Your review is good; I agree it's a great film; I'm a huge Aronofsky fan. I disagree that this role was "more challenging" than Penn's though. Yes Rourke's physical performance is impressive but bear in mind he comes from a sport background; we all know how perfect he was for this role due to his career/life parallelling The Ram's; he told Aronofsky to let him personalise it! Penn, however, played a real person, and a part unlike he has ever before, and he did it perfectly. Just a thought

  • I would disagree with your point that the daughter was a bitch. She had been abandoned by her father so you can see why she would dislike him so much.

Good review. Like yourself I enjoyed the film.

  • I agree with u Darth, she has to be a bitch even after she gave him one more chance he blew it

  • Hi just came across you and I was not sure what you were about. Glad I waited for the first twenty seconds to stop. You have neat things to say dont sell yourself short and ignore that jerky guys comments. I have yet to see it too kinda hoping YouTube will post it. I read Ms Woods was a bitch saying nasty things about Mickey. Maybe she cant act SURPRIZE. Never heard of her before this movie. The movie leaves you hanging? Kinda like that.
