nice, but it won't work on my shot.. I import all the tracking data, kill the Anchor point data and reset it, then press play, and the null is slippin all over the place. Barely seems to be tracking the object.
In Mocha however, when I click on mattes and stabilize, it looks good! WTF is going on?
Great tutorial!! Btw, what program did you use to record your screen?, Im trying to make a tutorial but all the screen capture software that I've found have low quality recording... Thanks!
in mocha click export tracking data. copy to clipboard (choose ae transform up top) open ae create a null object layer. select it and select paste. this pastes data to null. then open up layer (press u) make sure only anchor point keys are selected, push on stop watch to delete keys and then right click on anchor point and select reset.
this will give you a null layer that holds all tracking data from mocha.
good tutorial, i'm working on a project for school, and i was goign to download a completely different motion tracking program, i'm glad i watched this first :)
Ok this a great tutorial and all, but can u please tell me how to get the mocha tracking info into after effects........ i know how to do it but once i get it in after effects it doesnt work the tracking info is just off..
