@BKagent22, "Dear Abby" was released the same year as "Sally", but a few months earlier. Look up The Jaynetts on Wikipedia or Allmusic and you'll find that -- long story short -- The Hearts evolved into The Jaynetts.
After this record was released, The Hearts changed their name to The Jaynetts and soon recorded the classic girl-group hit "Sally Go 'Round The Roses".
