hey buddy, thanks for the amazing tutorial, please how can I make this logo transparent, I mean how can i remove the gray background behind the circled logo ? because I want to make a logo on this style and put it on a video in a circled way not rectangular. thank you.

@Science2Student Glad I could help! Basically all you will be doing is either deleting the grey background layer all together, or just click the "eye" button right next to that layer to hide it. Then just save it as a .gif file and it will just be the circled logo with a transparent background.

if anyone wants that box around the curcle to move and change the shape 2 copy and all that. you just go to the bar below the file, edit and all that and check the box that says Show Transform Controls !!!!!!!!!!!!!!

wen i colour my circle to dark blue it turns dark grey and if i choose any other colour itll still be either darker or lighter gray if i change it to any other colour

I also fail at the first step.. when i make the circle it doesnt make that layer called " Shape 1 " or whatever... I have

CS4 Extended...

If it does that... just create the new layer manually and then add the shape to it. you will need to still be able to edit the shape within the blending options mode so I duno how you would go about doing that. Try it out and let me know. I use CS3 so could be a lil different

Sorry I rendered the video wrong. Its suppose to be a perfect looking circle. and you do that by holding SHIFT as your dragging out a circle. I know in the video it looks egg shaped but its suppose to be circle. Hopefully that helps

ok so the first step fails for me when i drag out my circle i dont get that shape 1 think you have on my layers and when i go to blending options nothen happens any idea why??
