Dumbcunt. Firstly my iPhone 3GS has never overheated and I've had in in my pockets on very hot long days. It just gets very warm because of this, that's it. Secondly, I also own the 3G and mine never needed constant restoring because it's jailbroken. Unless you are lying and don't own and iPhone then shut it. There is really nothing, when you jailbreak, that can damage the phone so bad to the point of restoring over and over

You are probably correct. This tactic isn't only deployed by Apple though, other mobile companies do it as well.

Also the 3GS can record much better (VGA @ 30fps) than Cycorder can on a 3G. Other factors such as autofocus and double the ram are the main factors that make it a significant upgrade. The only reason I upgraded was due to the extra ram and autofocus camera. I probably should of got an N97 instead though because the 3GS is just the same old boring thing.

Nokia N97 seems better specwise, but I wish it was a bit slimmer. From what I'm seeing it looks like a brick... Maybe it's just the video though.

I think the key to making an awesome phone is the OS though. It needs to be easy to develop for, and there needs to be lots of good programs out there.

Honestly, the N97's design is awesome! The problem is the N97's flaws are that Nokia were too cheap to upgrade the processor speed andthe Symbian OS sucks! The iphone definitely trumps it when it comes to software and touch screen capabilities and it has a better processor. But I rather Nokia's superior hardware features like stereo speakers, FM transmitter, 5MP optics with FLASH (very big difference!!!!!!! lol) QWERTY keyboard, able to use stylus on screen, doesn't require software to get files, bluetooth file sharing! etc. I may be nitpicking but some of this mentioned stuff is very important 2 me and is why the iPhone drove me nuts!!!!
