I don't think GDA didn't invite other artist. THIS year GDA had their awards in Japan (btw are they going to air it?). Due to some conflicting schedules some artist prob couldn't attend. As for ppl saying GDA is SM biased.. I don't think so.. SM just happens to be selling more than others. And if anyone thought they were being biased they probably would have done something by now seeing as an SM artist has won 4 years in a row. There would have already boycotted, like when SM boycotted Mnet.

I kinda wished that SNSD was there during the ceremony. I knew for a fact that SJ was going to win that Disk Daesang because I personally think that they came out with a better song last year(2011). I'm a huge SONE and a big fan of SMTOWN. I wanted to see SNSD cheer for the boys and give them hi fives just like what SJ did last year when SNSD won. Anyways, congrats to SJ! Wish all the best to not just the current 9 members, but for all 13!

Doesn't any even know that there are two category, digital sales and album sales. The REason GG and other group wasn't there on the 11th was because they didn't win or didn;t make that much sale in the album category. But They did win in the digital sales. So why are you even complaining about who win. Obviously SJ makes the most sales in album and no doubt about that.
i am kind of gave up my respect for this ceremony. i mean the election seems to be biased in terms of everything. well the hell is yg, jyp, iu, tvxq, and jyj? idc who won the daesang really. i accept that. but the fact that these artists such as big bang, tvxq, and jyj were absent at a place they would shine the most out of all the artists in kpop is just dissapointing. and furthermore, y make korean fans pay more to go to this event? just hold it in korea....

However, TVXQ was taken away because SME asked them to take off (it is what I heard, not sure..) And you know the NO SHOW NO AWARD policy.. GDA didn't ask them to not come, it is the Entertainments to decide whether to go.

So in YG's case, fans already knew they wouldn't win any becaus they aren't showing. The reason why SME attended MAMA and go on M countdown this year is all because they made some compromise. Second, I think I said earlier, the reason why TVXQ didn't go or was taken away from the list is because of SME's decision, not GDA.
@mserikatodoh I honestly don't know why IU Tara or 2pm didn't go. But from last year, they did all attend the ceremony. So I personally don't think it's all GDA's fault. As you said, IU and Tara had good digital sales. They knew they would definitely win if they went. And IU did get nominated.

I kinda wished that SNSD was there during the ceremony. I knew for a fact that SJ was going to win that Disk Daesang because I personally think that they came out with a better song last year(2011). I'm a huge SONE and a big fan of SMTOWN. I wanted to see SNSD cheer for the boys and give them hi fives just like what SJ did last year when SNSD won. Anyways, congrats to SJ! Wish all the best to not just the current 9 members, but for all 13!

Doesn't any even know that there are two category, digital sales and album sales. The REason GG and other group wasn't there on the 11th was because they didn't win or didn;t make that much sale in the album category. But They did win in the digital sales. So why are you even complaining about who win. Obviously SJ makes the most sales in album and no doubt about that.

i am kind of gave up my respect for this ceremony. i mean the election seems to be biased in terms of everything. well the hell is yg, jyp, iu, tvxq, and jyj? idc who won the daesang really. i accept that. but the fact that these artists such as big bang, tvxq, and jyj were absent at a place they would shine the most out of all the artists in kpop is just dissapointing. and furthermore, y make korean fans pay more to go to this event? just hold it in korea....

@mserikatodoh Well this is not really based on bias. The groups you named in your comment were all nominated and fans were all able to vote for them. However, TVXQ was taken away because SME asked them to take off (it is what I heard, not sure..) And you know the NO SHOW NO AWARD policy.. GDA didn't ask them to not come, it is the Entertainments to decide whether to go.

So in YG's case, fans already knew they wouldn't win any becaus they aren't showing. The reason why SME attended MAMA and go on M countdown this year is all because they made some compromise. Second, I think I said earlier, the reason why TVXQ didn't go or was taken away from the list is because of SME's decision, not GDA.
