Don't go dissing Gossaw, she's awesome. I mean she's in a band with members from Mercyful Fate, Carcass and In Flames, how is that not a win? And her vocals are unique and amazing, huge AE (Carcass In Flames and Mercyful Fate/King Diamond) fan here, especially post-Johann

I believe gossow is merely a liability towards Arch Enemy as a whole. She is not one of the best either, I don't know how many female fronted bands you've listened to but there were many before her, such as, Kayzen, who came out a year before she even joined Arch Enemy or Stigma who also came way before her. I only give her credit for making it popular in the states and that's pretty much it. Kayzen and Stigma are "black/death genre" anyway.
you gotta give angela credit though, she is one of the better female vocalists out there (for the black/death genre) obviously there are others but shes def a standout, plus she kinda led the way for other women to join the genre. women have been doing the harder stuff since the days of L7 and Bikini Kill, then Kittie came out in the 90's and Otep in 2001 and Arch Enem,y took it up to the next level. idk about any other female screamers in death/black metal b4 angela
