To be honest I'm embarrassed that the theme park (if you can even call it that) closest to me is Valleyfair. Renegade is the ONLY decent coaster in the whole f***ing park!!! Come on Cedar Fair stop beefing up other parks like Carowinds and Cedar Point and get B&M to make a great coaster for Valleyfair. An invert like Montu would go a long ways. I'm sick of living 30 minutes from a park where the only coaster with any inversions at all is a crappy corkscrew coaster that every theme park has.

I used to live in Waconia up until I moved back to the East coast in 2009 so driving by Valley Fair was a daily thing but mainly to sneak up to Mystic Lake casino...lol You left out one roller coaster probably the best one Valley Fair had at the time "Excalibur" just was wondering why it didn't make it into this video, was is closed that day again for repairs???

I love the wild thing. I had a funny experience, someone lost their headband on the first jump while I was like 6 rows behind her, and I ended up gettting it wrapped around my hands when I rose my hands up..it was greatness. perfect catch! lol

I live about 20 minutes from ValleyFair, so we go whenever its open.

Corkscrew SUCKS.

High Roller is an all time favorite, with the fear its going to break beneath you (its really old) and all the bumps are incredible.

Wild Thing is one of the rides some people just wont go on. It's the first drop, but me having a love for roller coasters, enjoy this ride VERY MUCH, and me, my cousin and younger sister (older sister refuses to get on) wait til nighttime to ride it, getting on over and over :)

Last time I went, the High roller stopped half way up the first hill. I was totally freaking out! I was all like, ''WE'RE GOING TO DIE!'' I almost cried! We were stuck up there for about three minutes when a voice came over the speaker thing at the top of the hill. ''Your ride begins now.'' it said, and then it started right back up again! That was weird, but that didn't stop me from riding on it a million more times! LOL.

Man I will miss Valleyfair, can't wait to go back! I'm from MN, and havent been to VF in a while....I love their coasters there! Except Excalibur!! I went on it once and man did it wreck my neck and back! I heard them snap like 8 times lol. And I was 16! (Def. too young to be snapping and popping!) BUt the rest of the rides are great! Corkscrew is the smoothest coaster ride I've ever been on....what a great video!! Great filming! :)

The Corkscrew was the first coaster I ever went on (in late 80's I'm guessing). Too bad you don't have video of Excalibur. We don't have any amusement parks really in Phoenix.  :-(

I LOVE Valleyfair. I watched Wild THing derail. That was probably the scariest thing I've seen, but it's open now and the thought of it derailing just makes it that much scarier!!! Excalibur probably would be too hard to tape because it's so bumpy, you wouldn't be able to see anything.

I was there when the Wildthing derailed. It was pretty freaky. We were on a school trip and my music teacher kept letting people go in front of him to be on the run that derailed. There was even a helicopter covering the news. Freaky huh?
