For any civilians who are curious about what it feels like to fire a fully automatic weapon in a controlled environment: Go to Las Vegas. I rented an MP5, M4, M249 SAW, UZI and MAC10. All of them Fully Automatic, guns and ammo cost me about $265.00 all together. I had a safety guy there with me and it was an indoor range.

Seriously, it gets the curiosity of fully automatic weapons out of your system, as well as being a much more controlled environment than this video looks like.
