@MrSycho7 salaam, i heard this nasheed till the end, because i thought a lot of ppl have thumbs up on ur comment, but i didnt find any instruments that makes this nasheed into music, ive heard many other beautiful nasheeds that use drums, these are merely drums used i dnt see how that is music, can you plz explain to me which part is music, i dnt mean to be sarcastic that is a general question :) ...
@MrSycho7 i also wanted to say that i think the only music maher zain actually has is barakallah, have you heard of that one? that is used in weddings i think that would be classed as music but i dnt think this is, i dnt think uve heard maher zain before because when i heard him the first tym then i also thought its music, its jus because his voice is abit like asif he is singin, thats because he was going to become a singer till he last minute decided i want to sing nasheeds Mashallah :)

@angeleyes7868 Be certain that whoever gives up something for the sake of Allaah, Allaah will compensate him with something better than it, as is proven in the hadeeth of the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him), in this case, Allah will reward you in-sha'Allah by feeling the beauty of Quran and help you to learn it.

it's preferable though to listen to nasheeds (because what i call nasheed is anything without instruments otherwise it is not) like those of AlAfasy if you understand arabic they have beautiful meanings as for English there is Ahmed Bukhatir who has some beautiful nasheeds

I assure you my friend that since i left listening to music my understanding and humble towards Quran has incredibly become better SubhanAllah

Assalamu'alaikum. According to Syaikh Yusuf al-Qardhawi, this kind of 'song' is NOT haram. I used to think that strings was forbidden because of the hukum I learnt that I cannot verify whether it's sahih or not. I held on to that thought for long and composed nasheed without intention to include music in it. But this ulama knows better.., and I've changed

what confuses me is this habit of Christians ,and some others!, who seem to focus only on a Male diety up in the heavens. This is not nasheed. So much beats n stuff, u can't use Allah swts name while it's pure music. Please don't do things like this, Its not allowed in Islam.
