  • @89orangejuice Stop spreading disinfo. I'm strictly isolation and i've seen better mass gains than when doing compounds. Here's one for ya, if the bench press is the "king chest exercise" why does it only work 40% of your chest while the flyes if done correctly work 90%? It's all about stimulation and not the amount of weight you lift. Otherwise, cheat curls would build more mass than drag curls which will never happen because your using more weight with less stimulation..

  • The worst thing that he was doing was letting his arms come back at a really high speed and then push all out right back into the forward movement. That's how a muscle tear can happen. When you are at your full stretch, there's more initial tension on the muscle than at any other time. Any force that you apply at that point is increased upon the muscle by the stretch tension itself. He should be coming back to the end of the backwards movement more slowly and steadily and explode from there.

I know a few people that work in gyms and I asked them why they don't correct the exercises and the response is always the same "I want to help them but my supervisor says I cannot get involved."

  • @Shteve I applied for a job at my local Georgia YMCa for a Floor Job, but I got a desk job for the first 2 months :( Then after someone got injured by not having a spotter on the bench, they examined me for strength and power etc and I got the floor job ^_^ I'm back there helping people now.
