Hey Laura, I did my best pirouettes yet, although I still have far to go. I didn't focus on the 'close ribs/straight leg/use arm/spot/point toe/think up' etc. Not sure what I did but it was way more confident and easy. Woohoo.
LOVE this video! It is amazing! Thank you sooo much for sharing it. Sharing your experience and empowering us to overcome our fears. It has certainly empowered me to overcome my fears that sometimes feel like they are overpowering me!
Yes Laura, my unimagined left arm was definitely feeling heavier. What a shock. I'm gonna definitely use this imagination technique in my pirouette work (still falling). The only outcome I'm gonna see is balanced success...with a smile.
@barbarahames hi Babs! Yes, it will certainly help your turns! ... and I have some more in store for you and your turns coming soon, so stay tuned! :D
Amazing! I never thought about just how much my reluctance or uncertainty about something could be affecting how well I performed. WOW! Huge insight when I tried to raise my left arm while imagining it was still down by my side.
I will think of one area where I am reluctant to move forward and practise 'snowboarding' it three times a day for three days. I'll let you know how I get on. :)
Fantastic example of exstending your Ki/chi/mind, I like to throw in Peripheral vision while walking and taking in all the beauty that nature has to offer.. Thanks Laura!
