  • I got Nero before I knew what hollywood strings was, I never even considered the possibility that Allegro Agitato was played by anything less than a full live symphony orchestra...

  • So this is what the combination of East West Symphonic Orchestra, East West Choirs, East West Hollywood Strings, and hard work sounds like ?

I...uh...only have Symphonic Orchestra Platinum and the silver version of "hard work" so far...

  • amazing ima get it for xmas

  • The final Song starts at 2:05

  • @Pjty1 Song is called Allergo Agitato, which will be on Two Steps From Hell's upcoming private album 'Nero' later this month (October).

    It's so beautiful.... :)

  • Lots of your HS demos have horns and perc and everything but Im guessing HS only comes with Strings, right??? .. and also, what about solo???

  • @soroutstendor Yeah, just strings. Hollywood Strings is more of a "section" thing. If you want solo, have a look at the EWQL Symphonic Orchestra.

  • Masterpiece !

  • I'm really confused, does hollywood strings only come with the violins, violas, celli, and bass instruments? because the demo you played in the end has strings, percussion, chorus, brass, and piano. also, I was told by a sam ash associate that it has synth pads as well. I can't find a clear answer on the ewql website so can some one help me?

  • @miclain1995

Hollywood Strings only includes the Strings, the rest of the orchestra is from other sample libraries.

  • Fast Legato Bow-change not exists in Hollywood Strings Diamond. if you try to play faster than 70bpm Play engine switched to Slur and not Fast Bow Change Effect that usefull in most part of the score..., if I wrong please tell me...

  • but Hollywood Strings is first choice in market and 2 or 3 time better than other LA Scoring String. I hope that EastWest decide to make an update for "Fast Legato Bow-change" Effect that usefull in most part of the score

  • Does the "Gold" edition come with tremolo as well?

For the composition during the last 5 minutes, where are the horns from? (EWQL SO?)

  • Last 5 mins Magnificent.... I doubt you created that on a 2.1 GHz HP laptop with 3GB RAM.

    Sucks to be poor lol

  • Give Thomas Bergersen 2 woodsticks,a metal plate and a tin can and he will make a filmscore!!!! It's Perfect!!!!!!!

  • brilliant. Now lets clone Mozart and Beethoven and see what they can do lol

  • You have to factor in the skill of the person performing this, arranging and playing these virtual parts while thinking like a string player. I own 9 Eastwest instruments including Symphonic choir and Symphonic Orchestra...

but I don't think I can afford this one just now... $1400 is a bit rich for my blood.

  • I cannot even fathom how you all put this together, amazing

  • I cannot even fathom how you all put this together, amazing

  • the sounds are so good there putting orchestra's out of biz ... this is bad for the economy lol .... good for us

  • The sound quality is great and the compositions are all the same, pathetic bullshit.

This seems to be the aesthetic dictatorship of Hollywood.

It´s really time to break that circle of permanent reproduction.

    Start to make music!

  • i want to hear a version of "Tyler Bates - To Victory" made with this VST

  • This IS a game changer. For the first time ever, I absolutely CANNOT tell it is digital. Handing someone the power of a full blown orchestra in a small metal box is truly amazing, and totally worth the price tag! Fantastic work here.

  • how to bay? PLASEE!!!

  • What other products besides HS was used in "Allegro Agitato?" That and "Love Suspended are disturbingly beautiful."

  • It's over for live players. I would have liked to see a change in articulation while playing the line like in Vienna.

  • really great program ...but very expensive all of them ..from ewql and projectsam ...and thomas bergesen is amazing ...i think he`s the dude from two steps from hell company.

  • my life is complete. this is what i've been searching for, for the longest time. im going to bed tonight a happy man

  • This software is absolutely incredible. Great video bro.

  • What about pizzicato!?

  • I think all I can say is OMG!

  • Make part 4/3

  • is that horn ewql? :) is sounds epic!.. the song is realy beautifull.. going to buy me this one for sure..

  • epic dude

  • This choir I hear on here is from the "Symphonic Choirs" package?

  • this is the dogs danglies! sounds so real! this is on another level compared to VSL/EWQL/LASS.

  • Jezus! Nick sounded like it was just a little piece of music.....It was f**ing amazing!! Darn!!!

  • @salkarin I have tested Symphobia... Maybe Symphobia is bigger, but it's not this versatile.

I own EWQLSO Silver, it does the job... But this software is the best i've ever heard

  • haha... unbelievable...

    It's revolution

  • ary

  • Time to ask for a raise...

  • @GWStreicher

This really sounds awesome, I hope it works out for you George!

  • I guess its time to replace my EWQL Platinum Strings, I seriously thought they could never be topped, but they were!! Gief...

  • A M A Z I N G ! ! ! ! ! Really nice job guys! Don't understand how you guys keep amazing me...

  • If I had it, I'd would feel... God

  • You guys seriously rule!! This is amazing!

  • Wait....you're telling me those last 5 minutes was produced entirely with a computer running these libraries (no live studio orchestra)?

    That's scary....

  • @takigan

Only the strings were East West however, everything else was TJ's custom orchestra and choir.

  • I wish they would sell TJ's custom samples. lol

  • @smoothielova

Yea, that would be nice :P TJ likes to play it down in public, but I remember when he was telling years ago in IRC that its the first time he really felt like he had truly expressive samples.

  • It always seems like the best stuff is out of reach due to either price or their private and highly customized. : C I really am curious about how he did his choir? Like if he paid east west to do his own choir word builder set. I'm not surprised of how many private/custom sound libraries they have over at Two Steps From Hell. Its hard not to be jealous sometimes. : D

  • @takigan If you think that's scary, wait 'til you hear the software musicians union representative I've created.

  • @takigan yep. a composer's dream, a session musician's nightmare

  • @takigan Hes telling u a lie. The vocal part cant be created by a Cpu only. That would be then going into Vocaloid Technology and they have not achieved sounds like that yet. Although vocaloid is still getting better and better. Maybe if it was ooh ahh etc voices or Choir samples then that would make sense. But when there are actualy words being sung out. ^^ The rest probs could be the cpu thought the Vocals would def have to be recorded from a studio.

  • @pivot383 Ummm....no. EWQL Symphonic Choirs provides exactly this, and given the context, I'd say that's what was used here.

  • @gunteman Your right, I have used a few choirs, Requiem pro among them that sound this good if not better!.

  • @pivot383 Look up EastWest's Symphonic Choirs, that's exactly what it does :)

  • WOW.

  • that last bit was a seller

  • IMBA!
