i could never pick a fav song from them, but this is up there. The bridge is the best i've heard since the bridge from "Circles" or "Talk Shows On Mute." Dirk is ridiculous, he's really improved, after A Crow Left Of The Murder he's done nothing but rock. There are no words to describe them, by far the best band ever. The crazy part is trying to understand why noone I know loves them like I do. I've yet to find someone as moved by their music as I am. ...sigh..

It seems like some people argue whether or not Incubus is mainstream. They may be widely known and very popular, which makes them mainstream, but I think the reason some people don't like to consider them as such is because they still have a very unique and distinct style all their own.

And, in my personal opinion, their quality of music is much more deep, and well... intelligent than most mainstream bands I constantly hear on the radio that sound like everything else I've ever heard.

rainydr3ams, incubus is mainstream. it used to be more obvious when their album 'make yourself' came out. these songs havent been on the radio much, but that doesnt mean they still arent a widely recognized and loved band, even in the mainstream.

Well, this song sounds almost egyiptian and it plays in some of those same kinds of notes. Peephole has a polka timing and is also very influenced by some world music. but i don't think the resembelance is that strong. Peephole is like polka metal. This is like western egyptian type rock

I really love Incubus, but I think that the original version of pantomime was so much better....I think they kinda take out that feeling that pantomime had....I'm not saying it's bad, but I'd rather hear original Pantomime in a concert than the new one...too bad they didn't play neither of them in San Diego.

When I heard they redid this song, I was skeptical... I didn't like the idea of them tampering with an already badass song, but then I got Monuments and Melodies, and all I gotta say is... Wow. They pulled off the impossible; making the amazing song 10x better. Plus the acoustic "A Certain Shade of Green" is phenomenal... Thank you, Incubus!

dont get me wrong, this is an amazing new version but sadly i think it sounds over produced and a lot of the effects seem manufactured, especially towards the end. Also, the thing that made the original version so great was its build up from a single guitar to an explosion of sound. this version is practically heavy all throughout and loses that emotional effect.
