The COLA raise is 1/2 of the money SSA gains on loaning the money to other government agencies. The raid on the funds is why we do not have the benefit of time of money. Women pay for full family coverage, a pregnant husband, but receives one single amt.

After listening to him say his health care plan covers "everyone universally" then learning that it actually leaves 15 million without coverage and he himself saying it's "virtually universal" really made me doubt his honesty. If he lies and changes his tune on healthcare before being elected, there is no telling how he may change his mind on social security after being elected.

The "15 million" is a made up figure estimating the number of people who choose not to have health insurance under Obama's proposal. Nobody is "left out" who doesn't want to be, and they can always choose to obtain health insurance at any time and see a doctor. Hillary's plan would force everybody to pay for health insurance, but she is shady on how that would be enforced. Basically, the 15 mil is a non-issue.

He doesn't leave anyone out. It will be available to everyone, but not mandatory (which would require penalties and garnishing wages to enforce). The "15 million" includes people under 25 who wouldn't have their own policies, but would be eligible to stay on their parents' policies under the Obama plan.
