I THANK YOU FOR THIS VIDEO I LEARNED A LOT FROM IT.I AM LOOKING FOR A PATTERN OR A VIDEO FOR A SNOWMAN THAT I SAW ON YOUR VIDEO HERE.SO IF YOU CAN HELP I WOULD APPRECIATE IT.
This is the problem that I encountered: If I wrap too tightly, I cannot get the bottom loop over the peg. If I wrap to loosely, I can get the loops over but my finished product is so loose. Help!!!
@kjb2835 U should try to keep it loose but not so loose that it comes off. If you have still have trouble try using a pen to wrap ur yarn. There is a video on how to make this pen idea from mikeysmail..
ahhh...thanks I have beening trying to figure this thing out and stayed up til 3am Thank you sooo much for the video and the nice tip to where to get cheap loom things Melatina77 ..
Sip...en Mexico los venden. No son de esta marca pero sirven para lo mismo. Centro historico de la Cd de Mexico. Calle Rep de Uruguay casi esq. con Calle 20 de noviembre. La tienda se llama EL AHORRO
tp make the Brim you would loom about 3 to 4 inches bring top of brim thru to pegs put large loop on peg and loom off as you were doing you stitches you then will start making the hat again when you finish the Brim
Wait, I don't understand, the video seems to be cut in the middle. So after the first round of lifting the bottom over the top, where do you put the yarn where you wrapped around your finger at? And also, after you've anchored all of your yarn, where do you go from there?
I just found out about loom knitting a few days ago from WisconsinMomof2. I'm really excited to give it a try!! What GREAT Christmas presents for all my grandchildren....homemade hats and scarves!! :)
i've made a scarf and working on 2nd scarc now with long loom, but i am having a hard time with the round loom for my first hat, its so hard to pull bottom row over the top, and i have made it as loose as possible, my fingers are so sore, and my left pointer finger was swollen this morning. i am hoping i get the hang of it soon or my fingers will be done for.
I use a different brand, but they look to be about the same size, so I'd like to post that the "child size" (green for this kit, red for mine) loom is large enough to fit an adult size head as long as you have a bit of give to your yarn. (It will be like a beanie fit, which I prefer.)
They don't show you in this video how to do a hat with a brim in this video, but I would suggest it for those who don't want the bottom of your hat to curl up, as it will do so if you only have a single layer.

I agree, why pay more when the ones at wal-mart are very durable and way cheaper.
