Very strange, but it appears guitar player is tuned up 1/2 step (his lead is played in E standard, but the song is in F) -- anyway, the licks are, as most blues/rock, filled with flatted 3, 5s, and 7s ---without those notes, all we would have would be distorted classical, wouldn't we?
