And are you trying to say Kurt Angle is better in TNA than in WWE. Have you seen Kurt Angle in TNA, he's lost most of his muscle in his arms, he's become an alcoholic, addicted to pain killers because TNA lets it all slide, Kurt was much healthier in WWE and performed on a higher level. HBK vs Angle was one of the greatest matches of all time.

@timthecowboy1 No matches Angle has had in TNA stand out, the main point everyone mentions is the moonsault off the top of the cage.. the guy missed it and made no contact. Anyway, back to Roode, this is a guy who has shown he is championship material in TNA and WWE will see that. Just like they did with Christian, Christian Cage was NWA World Champ in TNA, when he jumped back he became ECW World Champ for 9 months and has had 2 World Championship reigns already since.

i hated his match with kurt angle in BFG,kurt angle just knows suplex then ankle lock!bobby roode is so much better, and hes so marketable!its just that wwe exposure that gives kurt angle the edge!fuck wwe,controls everything,tna is so much watchable, wwe just has moments, like jericho and the rock..house hold names thats it, its a goood shit the rest.cant watch raw or smackdown without fast forward or shutting my eyes a bit, tna aint perfect, but in london they showed what their capable of

Oh, and I still wonder why both WWE and TNA use normal songs as themes; it's counter-intuitive. Look at Razor Ramon, Mankind, The Rock, Stone Cold, Bret Hart, Kurt Angle, Goldberg, Kane, Undertaker, Gangrel ETC! A theme shouldn't be something you hear on the radio, it should be something simple and congruent with the character using it.

@thedawn0900 Definitely, For me, a wrestlers entrance music should help tell the story of that wrestler, not just a random song given to a wrestler because it was cheap for the music department to purchase rights to.

@FlannabanV2 Exactly right. Imagine Kane coming out to a whiny emo song? It'd ruin his character. With a lot of themes, especially in WWE, I can't even differentiate between who's who... they all blend together. Gangrel was right saying that his theme worked because it fit his character and he could "walk to it".... it added that "cool" factor his vampire gimmick needed.

Much better with the orchestral parts and no lyrics. I hate to say that TNA's main musical composer writes a lot of unremarkable music, but he does. This is a rare exception. I would have liked to hear the incorporation of the opening guitar riff from his "No More Fears" theme. There's a lack of consistency when it comes to the evolution of characters in TNA, something as simple as a recurring melody would have gone a long way.

@robinkom I couldnt agree more with each and every point. Like every so often Dale Oliver will create themes that are just awesome but then he'll produce a million other over riffed/alternative songs that he does also whenever a TNA superstar's theme plays I find it tough to distinguish them using their themes where as Jim Johnston produced themes always succeed in evoking a reaction because of similarities from theme to theme in most situations.

@TaufiqSafdar Yes, exactly. I remember Johnston had a lot of recurring drum beats in all of his mid-90s themes he wrote, lots of off-beat cymbal crashes and what not. If you listen to "Gold Lust," Austin's first "Stone Cold" theme, and Undertaker's first "Ministry" theme, you'll hear it in all of them. Same goes for Ken Shamrock, Flash Funk, and the Rocky Maivia "Destiny" theme. Despite this, every theme still managed to sound distinct and it helped in presenting the characters.
