We rely on science to help us approximate reality. What we then do with that reality falls to a sense of morality outside the realm of science. Therefore we cannot blame the science of evolution for Hitler's actions.

I agree. Very few atheists believe you can apply Darwinian theory to society, or Social Darwinism. That promotes racism and prejudice, which Darwin's theory on life does not do.

You cannot compare the theory of evolution, a natural process, to a social idea. That is not how it works. Hitler did think the Nazis were superior, but what about the whites killing 90% of the American Indians when they first arrived? There was no Darwinian theory then. Firstly, many people will miss that this video does not argue against evolution.
Secondly eugeniks does not follow from evolution, anymore than the Heavens gate suicide cult follows from the bible

I agree. Very few atheists believe you can apply Darwinian theory to society, or Social Darwinism. That promotes racism and prejudice, which Darwin's theory on life does not do.

As for morals, I am no worse than any "good Christian" out there. The host is implying that belief in Darwinism and Atheism means you can't have a moral code. Sorry, but that is yet another lie. Humans learn morality from society, and also have instinctual understandings of right and wrong.
If you need a book to tell you how to live your life, you've got major issues. That's all I have to say on that

What a slanted and fallacy-ridden video.
You cannot compare the theory of evolution, a natural process, to a social idea. That is not how it works. Hitler did think the Nazis were superior, but what about the whites killing 90% of the American Indians when they first arrived? There was no Darwinian theory then. Also, Hitler was a devout theist, and if you read his book "Mein Kampf" he claims he is doing "God's work" by battling the Jews.
Theists love to use that argument, but it is a lie

The point these anti-evolution people keep missing is that 'survival of the fittest' is just trivially true, whomever survives to the next generation IS the fittest.
What the pilgrims did to the indians, or the Nazis in WW2, was essentially an attempt at artificial selection, which was known for thousands of years. Thinking you are the best and that this gives you the right to the land, lives and wealth of others you deem inferior is a much older, actually biblical concept.
