I sang this in my choir class at a contest back when the movie premier and I still love this song and I still get goosebumps when I see this scene, recently watch it in my theater class and cry Even though I watch it a lot of times. I love RENT!

@saliri20 I don't really know why they would record it if they were going to scream that loudly, that's what I have more of an issue with, but "Seasons of Love" is a fan favorite and one of the most iconic songs in the musical, so of course fans are going to clap and make noise.

This one is special because its the last and the audience was applauding them for doing everything they've done. So stop being ignorant.

I'm sure they do reflect all the time. They touched so many people. You can tell they really put their heart and sole into the song and play for that matter. When one believes in something as they did this play, one can't help but put emotion and ownership to what they are preforming.

@swycguy OMG you sound exactly like my choir teacher....music can have a HUGE impact on people, rather it be happy, or sad, but as you said, you can go up on stage, perform a song, and yea, u may have hit the exact notes, but if you dont put youre heart and soul into the song, then it seems like you would rather die than be there singing that.....ugh how a little emotion can fix an audiences reaction =)

@Sinara8285 Now, if most of the singers "today" would read and take to heart what we are writing then the emotion and feeling of "yesterdays" music would make today's more enjoyable. Or just take time to talk to the singers of "yesterday" about style, emotion and ownership. I'm an old soul for the most part. I prefer Patti Page, Gogi Grant, Billie Holiday and Ella Fitzgerald , to name a few. One understood what they singing, they didn't scream.
