  • Religious people should be force to where a star so that they can be easily identified. - Adolph Hitler.

  • Super!

  • Specifically wanting an atheistic president is still testing faith (or lack of). How is demanding a Christian president worse than refusing to have one?

  • atheist shut the fuck no one gives a shit what you say only 2% of americans are atheist

  • Comment removed

  • Comment removed

  • @shkodra222 Which means only 2% of Americans evolved in the past 200 years.

  • @shkodra222 and the world laughs at your country for it. interesting that 95% of the scientific community are atheist. it's almost as if being more intelligent makes you see the glaring holes in religion.

  • 95% of fake statistics are made up by atheists.

  • Um...why is it funny for people to adopt children. Or homeschool them for them matter. People who are not religious homeschool and adopt children. Please spare us your stereotyping and judgmental sense of superiority.

  • @MariaCGMF25 : You're right. Look at Madonna. lol. I guess his joke flew over your head. ;o)

  • @MariaCGMF25 homeschooling is for retards

  • Like George Washington, Abe Lincoln, Beethoven, Kepler, Einstein (for a while). Cicero, Virgil, Dante, Bach, Mozart, etc, who are you to call people retards?

  • @thegatheringdenver Not a comparison, they lived in a different time and were taught by tutors.

  • @7strawman7 Of course he's an atheist. He actually states that MANY times in his videos. How has he become a victim of pride and vanity? You're the ones who worship a god that thinks it's ok to have a slave, to kill anyone who isn't of the same race/religion. Your god is capable of infecting innocent children with deadly desease, and subject whole countries to famine and drought. If thats not bad enough, the leader of the catholic church (pope) chose not to investigate pedo's. Corruption?

  • We need an atheist president

  • Glad Bill Maher has picked up the "anti-religion" gauntlet that George Carlin carried for so long.

  • Bill Mauer believes that people/ animals all the sea creatures & plants, flowers, trees & fruits were created by a huge wet Rock floating in space

  • @ncwdane At least the 'wet rock' has a rational, scientific explanation. God has nothing of the sort. The church is one of the richest, and most powerfull forces umanity has to offer, yet they still have found nothing to back up their theories. I live in a 3 bedroom house, and I'm able to show the workings of gravity, physics, math, and biology, without spending a penny. If the church really believed what they preach, they would spend copious amounts of their disposable income proving it.

  • @DemonLDR On the Contrary, Science/Scientist & Paticularly Evolutionist, Have had much more funding for for the Propaganda & assertions/teachings & Dogma of Evolutution Than the Churchs whoms Primary Goal is Not science itself, & yet scientist Have never been able to scientifically prove where Life began or duplicted life fromn non-life in a Laboratory though they claim millions of speicies abrubt appearing just happened w/o inteligent intervention, & over 1/2 the population dont believe that

  • @ncwdane There is no way evolutionists have anything close to the funding the church gets (overall). Science may not be the churches 'goal', but if they're right, and there really is a god, its in human interest to investegate, and prove his existance. Solid scientific proof would convert millions, if not billions of people (inc me). Then there's the people who would have died in wars. Science can create synthetic life, and it won't be long til they do it from scratch.

  • @DemonLDR Evolutionary quasi scientist have nearly all the big time universities & there labs & students as well as staff researchers

also the govt funding for reasearch almost always ONLY goes to evolutionist, they;d cry seperation of church & state if creaytionist applied for those Grants, we know ya cant get something from nothing, No complete DNA has ever been synthetically created, & Finite anything can NOT go back eternally so everything must of been created miraculasly scientically !!!

  • @ncwdane How can you honestly believe that the church isn't recieving help from the government? The church is free to do almost anything they want. Donation baskets all over, religious schools, churches plastered all over, tax exempion, charilty status, free bibles. For a donation, they're free to sell someone 'hope'! Thats crazy. I would be jailed for fraud if I did that. Bringing a child up believing in god is wrong. Let them decide when they're mature enough, and have all the FACTS.

  • @ncwdane Maybe science can't recreate life 'yet', but the chances are, they will. If you really believe that something can't be created from nothing, then where did your god come from? Someone/something must have created him. Making him, also, a subject of evolution. If you reply by saying 'he has always been there', then I'm sorry, but that goes against your 'nothing from nothing' statement. If everything has a begining, then so does your god. As it happens, your god is man made.

  • @DemonLDR You concept of God is to Small, & you need to think outside your little Box & oay attention, I said Finite can NOT go back eternally & God is Spirit & God is so Big, he is not even confined to this time realm, (God is outside oif time itself) we know we are confined to time beings we are Finite, you are wrong about God always being goes against something from nothing

  • @ncwdane That dosnt make sense.God being a spirit doesn't mean he has always been there. Something must have 'made' the spirit in the first place, or it wouldnt 'exist'. Everything was 'created', but it was created on a molecular level, using phyisics and chemestry, WITHOUT blueprints. You cannot pick and choose what's infinite (god), and what isnt (the universe). Spirits are without matter, so can't be 'big'. God is outside of time too? So, please tell me one thing, where did god come from?

  • @DemonLDR Ever heard the term "The Buck stops Here"

well with God, he Just "is" he is & was & has always been, He Describes Himself to us as "I Am"

he just "is", it's not surprising that god is a Mystery to ya, if you could Disect him to ur full understanding, that would make less since that you Actually were disecting God & understanding Him, your trying to put him in ur feble mind Box, God didnt "Come from" anywhere, He just is & has always been, you on the other hand are part of his creation

  • @ncwdane That's the problem. It makes no logical sense. Why can't the universe be the one which 'just is and always been'? Why do you feel the need to make things more special than they already are? The world, and everything in it, is amazing. Why belittle it with something more complex?

Nature is VERY cruel. almost all life forms exploit, and cause huge pain and distress to another life form. That isn't 'good'. For someone to create so much pain, they must be very sick indeed. sociopath?

  • @DemonLDR God created the world perfect, but he did give man free will,

How whould making a Doll that can only say I Love you mean anything,

Man CHOOSE to be disobedient to God & cause the Fall & evil to get domain over the once perfect Planet,

we were talking Science here & I cant help that science points toward a Miraculas creator God Conclusion,

We Know you Can NOT get something from nothing & we KNOW this Universe being Finite,

CAN'T go back enough Days to have the 1st day 2 get here

  • @ncwdane Man having free will, doesn't explain the pain prey feel when 6 lions take it down. Science does NOT lead to a creator, Where did you get that idea? Chances are, it will be via bad evidence. Personal experience, books, teachers, priests, school, bible? None of them are 'evidence' , and u know it. Show me something real. Not something that CANT be validated (including the bible). If there isnt any proof, formulating it doesnt help. Either show and tell, or admit you have nothing. Simple

  • @DemonLDR I've presented the impossibilities of No creator already, scientifically soeaking, several times, you cant go back in time far enough eternally to have the 1st day to get to the 2nd day to eventually get to here, You'll always have to go back yet anoother Day & another & another & it's impossible, as For God, its not that he goes back in time forever, He isnt even in the time realm !!! Lack of evolutionary evidence points to creation, millins life forms, Zero replucated in a Lab ! :-/

  • The problem with an atheist President is you're less likely to have a President who believes in right and wrong. Bill Maher has some points, but, let's face it, the only thing stopping him from being Charlie Sheen is that his drug of choice is marijuana, not cocaine. Atheism has made Maher quite irrational. This is why Larry King, born and raised Jewish, says, "I'm not an atheist, because that's a religion." The truly rational are the ones who say, "I'm not sure, but this is what I believe."

  • @UncleMikeNJ Not sure that religious presidents have a good track record when it comes to telling right from wrong. George W Bush sent thousands of troups to their deaths in an illegal and unwinnable war after consulting with his imaginary friend.

  • @raithrover1976 The problem is, Bush's friend was all too real, it was Dick Cheney, and he's about as far from being God as you can be and still be outside of hell. For the moment.

  • "party with your ghost" LOL

  • religion is freaking funny

  • People for the rational scientific investigation of 9-11 used to be a small minority also. Wake up Maher! 9-11 is the only topic that you seem to be incredibly irrational about. Rationality is a principal!

  • @000MrJwright what exactly do you intend to get out of this scientific investigation of 911?

  • @CheStillFighting Just imagine what Christopher Hitchens or Richard Dawkins would say if you asked them the same question about religion. We are(or at least I am)a philosophical animal, obsessed with the questions of what is true, what is moral, and ethical. Fortunately, people are no longer afraid to question religion. Unfortunately, the ostracism that comes with questioning the state is still too great. Investigate 9-11, If the 9-11 report is true you shouldn't find anything questionable.

  • @000MrJwright lol but you wont answer my qeustion. it was: what do you intend to get out of investigation?

the reason i ask is because i dont see how it could further anything. lets say you carry out an enormous investigation. and lets say, (though i think this unlikely), that you find out the bush administration set off bombs to destroy the towers.

ok, what then??? we already KNOW our governemnt lies to us ALWAYS and we know they exploit us ALWAYS. So what would this investigation do?

  • @CheStillFighting I don't really want a formal investigation. I would just like the public to look at all of the evidence already out there. That's all. It's important because basically, people are being murdered in foreign countries with support of the American people due to their ignorance on the topic of 9-11. Words are powerful, and when Maher ostracizes his audience for even thinking about questioning the standard narrative, it can be very dis-empowering.

  • Bill Maher: Thanks for this. This was enjoyable!

  • I don't consider religion a disease but I certainly consider it to be a mental disorder held by otherwise seemingly normal people.

  • @Hornadayfan - A mental disorder it seems to be, and many of those afflicted choose not to get help. They fear even questioning their so-called faith, being told early in their indoctrination that questioning is really the devil trying to deceive. If you were really "good," you would not question but just blindly follow. "Oh, ye of little faith" and all that guilt shit. So, we're given a brain/intelligence but we are not to use it/develop it? No thanks. I choose reason (late in my life).

  • So he's pretty much a communist, he wants a atheist government and wont vote for a believer in God. Im guessing he'd vote Stalin over Martin luther King

  • @jermainekg6 you know, that actually has nothing, and i mean, 0%, to do with communism. i mean, you could even have jesus as in your government, and it could still be a communistic society. religion is completely unrelated to communism.

  • Never forget the shit caused by the deluded beliefs on a god

  • One of the best vids on youtube.

  • I'd like to see Bill run for president just to run. Of course he wouldn't win becasue the majority of the votes would go to batshit for brains who can't figure out how to open a door. But Bill's campaign would be hysterically funny. :P

  • @rodnjac1 Lets see who do I believe - A book with a talking snake, donkey, and shrubbery. Or the data that we have collected from the universe that has shown that the earth is not flat, the atmosphere does not have a solid dome over it, the sun and moon are NOT in the atmosphere and as far as we can tell there are no cloud walking bearded gaints in the sky.

  • Religion is the tapeworm in the guts of rationality.

  • Atheism is the stupid belief that the universe is an accident.

  • @thegatheringdenver No it's the rejection of a claim for gods that has not been and never will be proven.A rational person accepts nothing without without reasonable evidence - see your problem exists right there.

  • I agree with Bill on this. Check out Richard Dawkin's TED talk on youtube. He elaborates quite well on the subject of religion and US politics from a foreigner's perspective.

  • Religion is a disease.

  • @Redbaron011 I don't get this. Do most atheists refer to religious people as those who attend church, or religious as those who believe an any outside force *even a being* holding things (though they are chaotic, but not as chaotic as they could be) together? i for one always thought that listening to a guy tell you who God is was kind of ridiculous. Where do I find God? In epiphanies. In experiences I have. In nature. I don't believe in circumstance because I know everything is a fixed outcome.

  • @Redbaron011 If believing in something greater for all beings who have been blessed with life is wrong, I'm sorry. I don't think however that it means this life or planet should unappreciated any less. I plan to be a Missouri State Game Warden and bust dog fighters and idiots who commit real crimes (not smoking pot), and adopt. I already am celibate and vegan. just because I do believe in something doesn't mean I'm brainwashed. John Muir was a believer and look how great he was.

  • @tohidefromourways "celibate and vegan" ......why? sex is what we are genetically hard wired to do. I cannot understand why people have such a hang up about sex.

  • Yes!!!!

  • You know what this country needs? An athiest president.

  • Perhaps someone who believes this is the only life we get would be less likely to send other people's children to die...

  • @pyVlad Or maybe the people that r sending peoples kids to die for no reason, r actually starting up all this conflict around the world to keep the people against 1another while all the corrupt world leaders r really homies behind the sences setting up a new world order to control everybody just like almost every leader in human history would have loved to achieve. normal everyday people just want to live their lives but than u got leaders decieving them to fight others & visaversa

  • o.o put that before I saw the part of the video when he said it

  • He said that? I only watched the first five seconds or so. That just make from my mind. No bullshit.

  • True. Abraham Lincoln was an atheist, too. We do need more secular presidents.

  • Trusting in God, who can go with me, and remain with you and be every where for good. from Lincoln's Farewell Address on February 11, 1861 (CWAL IV:190)

  • @Jokerhamil That is also super sexy!

  • @Jokerhamil Amen to that!

  • @Jokerhamil you know what, i think you already have one :)

  • @Jokerhamil I'm pretty sure the current president is. He's the first to specifically mention atheists in his inauguration speech, and since being elected, he's shown little interest in church.

Unfortunately if you want to be elected, you really do need to at least pretend to be religious.

  • @PCrePs agree

  • @Jokerhamil Why? No sarcasm, I'm legitimately asking a question.

  • @Jokerhamil It's Got one, I seriously Doubt Obama is a true christian,

  • @ncwdane i for one am glad if he isnt, cuz the other so called true christians dont care about my opinions, lifestyle, mentality, religion or lack of, or any other form of so called GOD GIVING FREE WILL... thanks for the offer but ill stick to the ex-muslim, not so christian prez for now... better then Palin...lol

  • @TheWisdom187 I dont like Palin, so I can agree w/ ya to that extent

I think she's more PTA matrial, I do Like Ron Paul though & any strong constitutionalist who's against the fedral reserve & against Totolitarian Governing, I seen the freedoms disipate over the years & my higher paychecks buying less as govt. revenue such as charging for services that were free & upping prices of tickets & traffic school & car registration,m workers comp is up 300% , its rediculas, pay or be punished :(

  • @ncwdane all i gotta say... i agree 100%.. you pretty much covered the basic problems with this world. sure Ron paul would be a better choice then probably 95% of these politicians, but lets be realistic here, special interests groups wount allow it, and if people actually think that politicians care about what we think then they are sadly mistaken. they need to make lobbying illegal as it is just a form of legal bribery, then maybe they will work for the people again instead of money.

  • @TheWisdom187 I heard a rumor that one reason "insiders" bought myspace & destroted it was cause Ron paul was gaining so much popularity on oit & that was why he set a Record setting day for donations last campaign, & that scared them cause myspace wasnt something they had control over, well, now they do, & the freedom flow of info is censored & twisted, i'm afreaid insiders indeed have a huge advantage, mainstream ignores rom as much as they can even though hes more popular on the net than any

  • @ncwdane someone once said, if you heard a rumor about a politician, it´s probably true... i wish i knew who it was.. if we outlawed lobbying more then 70% of our problems would solve themselves.. its really that simple.

  • @Jokerhamil Well not necessarily atheist. Just a secular president is good enough for me.

However just having a president would be pointless, we need Congress to be filled with people who solves problems with their brains and not their faiths.

The whole idea is to have a government which does not make policies based on religion, we cannot cater to any one religion, other wise we will have to cater to all religion.

Not to mention it is Unconstitutional.

  • @Neosaigo Yes, it's those fucking religious nutjobs in Congress that ruin this country.

  • @Jokerhamil I agree but I doubt I'll happen in our lifetime......

  • @Jokerhamil The Athiests need to stand up! there are more of us than them but they have most athiests scared of violence.

  • @Jokerhamil Some say Washington and Madison were.

  • Well done!

  • "if you believe your in a long term relationship with an all powerfull space daddy, who will after you die party with your ghost forever, you can't have my vote even for miss Hawiian Tropic. I can't trust you with the levers of government because theres an electrical fire going on in your head" AMEN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
