I hate the way some places serve the beer ICE cold! It makes no sense. You can only enjoy a decent pint at a pub that actually know a thing or two about beer.
I can drown myself in rickards red, its the perfect relaxation beer for me. Not too weak, not too strong, nice bit of sweetness but still crisp enough to be refreshing.
Goes great with a meal, probably why every restaurant sells it, although they serve it too cold.
I keep trying out different beers everytime I pick up a case, but always seem to come back to rickards red for some reason.
Try mixing one Coors Light with one Rickards Red. Mmmmm, I'm having the blend right now. Plus it's a very good reason to open TWO beers,....lol. Then try a combination of some others,......soon you might invite some friends, if they are not there already.
It has more to do with just the overall appearance of the beer in most cases. I personally like the look of a good, solid head that leaves good lacing down the glass. Appearance is a factor a lot of reviewers/beer lovers take into account, even amatures like myself. Also, some heads are creamy and the make the drinking more enjoyable.
I fully agree with your stand on Rickard's. The serving temperature mustn't be too cold, too (or else, it won't be enjoyable at all, at least not for me).
I think Rickard's Red is by far the best mass market beer in Canada. It certainly isn't amazing, like you said, it's macro, but good for one of them.
nice review...very accurate and you understand beer well. it is a good macro and it is a smooth crips no after taste really mild flavor beer. i actually really connected with this review cause me and my buddy always buy a 12 or red and a twelve of kieths take 6 of each and change the taste up through the night... I also like to drink oldans export another nova scotian beer. i try to drink nova scotian beer and suport my province, you actually got me on propeller... nice reviews and keep em comin
Thanks for the comments. It's always nice to hear I've gotten someone to try some new beers and they've ended up enjoying them. That's pretty much the main goal of these videos...to get people drinking.:)

I LOVE Rickards! The local pub here has great deals on pints of Rickards, I can drink this stuff like water. Love love love it!
