I highly recommend NOT getting a Dazzle,here's why.Im not sure about Svideo,but with RCA I cannot record higher than 480p .I cant upload videos longer than 10 min,and it will only let me upload at 360p.Finally,if you record more than one session,it will override your last session.I recorded two Dead Island gameplays,and for some reason(after I saved them and opened a new project)the next thing I recorded overrode ALL my Dead Island stuff. It has to save to a file,then upload.Twice as long

I have a problem with my Dazzle gameplay recorder.

Pinnacle Studio HD 14 came with my Dazzle, so I use that.

May you please help me ?

1. When I finish recording gameplay off my Nintendo Wii and I preview the video there is lag between the video frames and audio.

Audio comes after video frame.

The computer I use is not slow, it's a fast computer. I think it's the Dazzle recorder itself !

Is there anyway to solve this problem ?

I just can't record anything. I plugged everything in the dazzle, first the dazzle, than the 3 a/v splitters, than the double sided a/v cable and that goes to my tv. And than the av cable of the ps3 to the ps3. But on my pc, nothing happened....

Keep in mind if you don't use the third red cable, you're only getting one channel of audio. This means that say, you can only hear audio out of one speaker.

then buy the dazzle videocreator plus and scart to usb(male) cable and usb(female) to HDMI cable connect those 2 cables put the scart into the dazzle and hdmi into TV(if you don't have hdmi output on tv buy Scart to Hdmi...THAT CANNOT BE USED INSTEAD OF THOSE 2 CABLES) and then just install dazzle capture software(you will get one)and capture :)

Note: if there is a hallway in between the room of of the wii and the room of the computer. tape it to the side or you will trip on it every single time

The fact is that I bought something similar like the Dazzle to connect the console to my computer monitor cause I don't have the tv in my room. The quality is good but not excellent, so I was just wondering if everyone connects before the console to the tv screen in order to have a better quality after on the computer monitor...Or maybe I do something wrong when connecting the device...

well when you have a low spec computer (like I do) the software that comes with the dazzle records with sound lag. Windows movie maker, however captures without that lag.
