not to be a jerk, but the melody to this song isn't very hard to figure out on guitar. Start with the minor scale, on the third degree and walk down - b3, 2, 1 , b7... then there's the little riff at the end... that's tabbed out all over the net. It's the touch and phrasing that'll get you... learn to use your ears - you'll be a better guitarist and musician for it. Not condescending, just tryin' to help.

Brian was heavily influenced by Hendrix so if you wanna sound like Hendrix you have to use a wah. Anyway... no-one has to justify anything for this video. This is his interpretation of the song.
