Beautifully sung and just the right tempo and magnificently accompanied in a sympathetic and non-challenging way...true accompanying. Very well done! Just the right rubato and light and shade. This is not an easy song even though it is a good foot-tapper it reqires careful expression and we got all of that. Lovely all round performance!

Correct on both counts, C maj is my own preference though.

It's the only 'melodie' of this type I know from Faure. One of his earlist pieces, I believe.

But it's a masterpiece.
